There is no doubt that Murtasim is encouraging Haya, but it is not intentional. If you see before wedding he was that strict man who always follows what’s right according to him and what Haya was doing was wrong so he reprimanded her.

And the main reason behind his behaviour is that now he knows he it feels to be in one sided love and he empathises with Haya and Empathy is a more dangerous emotion than love.

Oh I am not blaming Murtasim in that sense. He isn't doing anything intentionally, but his lack of judgement in Haya's case is what's bothersome.

He got easily manipulated by her into believing that Meerab left him when he was unconscious and injured on the hospital bed.

Just imagine, what if Maryam didn't step up and tell the truth to Murtasim, he wouldn't have gone to stop her. They would have been separated.

That's where Murtasim went weak, in protecting their marriage.

Also think, he really didn't make a huge fuss about Haya lying to him, to the point that he yelled at his wife and she was about to leave him.

His empathy for Haya is trouble in his marriage. He is being a poor judge about it.

Amna is right about how they deal with the rohail track can make or break murtasim character.

Full on gaslighting of meerab character. They don’t acknowledge any of her pain or trauma, they have turned her into a cardboard cut out. They even take way her right as wife to question Murtasim over haya, they called her a hypocrite, if she can lead murtasim on then he can lead haya on. Please please please How can they justify this?

They have striped away all the nuances of what it means to have sex in a marriage, especially what the act of making love means to a woman versus a man and reduced it to just pure carnal pleasures. I thought we we are watching a romantic drama, not game of throne. Sex and rape in game of thrones is a power move, but in a romantic drama sex it is an expression of love no not lets just do it act. I almost wish all this is his scheme to get Meerab closer. Is that bad yes, but I will take bad over stupid any day. Atleast with bad he must have a plan. Nahhhhhh as I write this I know I am wrong. It would damage the integrity of his character. Hmmmmmm how to solve the problem like Haya. Convenient how marriage was the solution to fix Meerab, but not to get rid of Haya especially when she doesn't even go to college like Maryam.

It's not just murtasim, literally everyone is giving a blind eye to behaya for unknown reasons.

Forget the lying incident, maa begum and murtu were chill when the girl tried to commit suicide like it's an everyday incident in that household. They behaved like behaya cuts her wrist every full moon and murtu sacrifices his sleep taking her to the hospital 🤣

Then they let her run her mouth against meerab all the time. On one hand murtu and maa begum are forcing meerab to act like the king's wife and respect whatever comes out of murtu's mouth but they stay quite when behaya goes on and on against the malkin of the house

Meerab is supposed to watch her mouth and keep her opinions wrapped up in the stomach but behaya can be as much besharam as she wants

It would have been still believable if maa begum and murtu were very stern with haya and gave her punishment for acting out and still behaya continued her harkat but nobody does anything. Behaya is the main reason why i cannot take this drama seriously.
