I was contesting the ‘ he supports everything Bollywood’. Because I have never seen him giving a word of support or appreciation to the folks like Ayushmaann whose recent The Action Hero while being critically acclaimed, lacked the viewership. Kya hi ho jata if he watched that movie and left a note of support for the movie? Or for that matter Qala , which no industry insider bothered to acknowledge while in the same breath highlighting even the half ass efforts of their insider friends. Now that is what I call as supporting everything Bollywood. He is welcome to support his friends or whoever he pleases but then let us not give it a ‘ he supports everything Bollywood’ . He supports his friends and the popular cinema- ughte sooraj ko salaam’, which is great. 🤷‍♀️

This is factually incorrect.

He supported Sir which is a small Indie movie. I remember him tweeting about it.

The action hero needed support badly and Ayushmann didn’t even hide his despair about people not showing up because he knew he had a gem on his hands. Not a single person from BW supported the movie. Sure for him ( and for you), it is not good cinema but this Luv Ranjan’s Tu Tatti Mein Tatti is a masterpiece. Each to their own. But like I said, I don’t care about what he supports or what he doesn’t and my point remains that he doesn’t support ‘ everything Bollywood’.
