But I guess its better and makes complete sense that they celebrate their holi with their respective families.

They had the role change because of their past trauma.

Every person deals with trauma differently. While teji was devastated after viraj left she couldn't gather herself so unfortunately viaan had to take up parent role. He became mature very soon in his life.
