He has been doing this whitening his fake hair and holding cane things to make that generation of actors look old, perception-wise. Main toh dubungi hi tum logon ko bhi le dubungi. It seems Mamu is planning to take the 80s Dilip Kumar type of roles from now on.

Hahaha! I like this line of thinking that Aamir is doing this to make all 90s stars look old and cane wale uncle types.

Never thought he would show that design and sink everyone by sporting white hair and white beard and walking with cane.

I think his hiatus is for public image reasons actually. Which I understand.

But I don't understand how he thought he could switch Kareena for Manushi when he's walking with a cane. Kareena was the only saving grace of that movie and I don't know how he thought he could romance someone so young at his age.

I don't think so but he would probably want to keep it under wraps for PR reasons. There was a cane at his daughter's wedding reception (presumably for him) but he wasn't using it in videos. He hasn't been seen much in public for other instances.
