I’m curious now though - why do they rely on such antiquated ways to understand what is popular and not? Is it mainly for ad revenue through cable viewers? Maybe during the days where cable was the only way for someone to watch a show, it made sense. But that’s not the case anymore. how is that still the only way to determine viewership/popularity etc

Todays episode was really sweet Videv wise - unka heart to heart sunke mere aankhein nam ho gaye ❤️ their fears their wishes their love etc etc. Devs perspective on him being unable to convince his mom about the work thing. Her not giving up on it. Bohut hi pyara tha.

baaki - HP ko kallu ek bhayankar idea deta hai - someone who sounds like a loan shark who can lend him money. HP says he’ll think about it.

baaki priya abhi ke drama, simi gets hurt when priya pushes her away. She calls vidhi and asks her to come back soon,

Satya gives abhi priya an earful and abhi is like he wants a divorce.

Precap : priya abhi ko suna rahi hai and plate phenkti hai jo frisbee ki tarah jaake vidhi ke sar ko lagti hai.

PS - yeh writer log ko kya hojata hai consistently accha episodes kyun nahi de sakte.

Aur ye editor log ne ek scene ko kaat diya vidhi aur dev ke beech.

What stuck with me after such a beautiful episode with so much of meaningful conversation was Hp and loan shark angle 🤣🤣🤣 Agar HP sachi mein loan shark ke paas gaya - paisa nahi laut paya aur loan shark vidhi ko utha le toh 😱😱

Unfortunately, that's still the way TRPs are calculated, I don't know the details myself, but from what I have heard it's a very outdated process, that's what experienced actors like Iqbal Khan themselves say, that ratings system is so rigged!

ITV and ratings system overall need an overhaul - if quality content actually is to survive on ITV, otherwise web and OTT will keep flourishing and TV content will continue to stagnate and keep regressing! 😭😭

Dev babu ke ring, vidhi didi ke payal - unke unique bracelets. Ab HP ka kuch kaand karne ka time aa gaya hai. Kitne din tak Priya aur mausi ye bhoj utha the rahenge.

On a serious note - I think it will take something major like this to distract dev completely from business and tab jaake Amba aur Yogesh ka plan safal hoga.
