Plastic. Fake. Too over exposed and all over social media. No dance or acting or voice modulation.

Today's lot makes me think even Sonali and Shilpa type glam dolls of 90s or Neelam types of 80s had better talent than them.

Too over exposed and known more for offscreen antics and real life than onscreen work. PC is too wannabe ever since she tried to get work abroad.

DP is okay. Her dialogue delivery is her biggest weakness. Very less memorable roles.

Obviously.. No acting talent or charisma in any of the girls debuting post 2017

Sunil had his own style and was good in action films and was huge in small towns and B centres due to action films.

Some of his films like Vinashak, Rakshak, Gopi Kishen are still damn popular on TV.

He was also fit and his films had good songs. His weak dialogue delivery somehow became his USP and people mimic the way he speaks.

Today's guys are weirdos and I hate their wannabe antics like nude shoots or selling personal life or behaving like TV serials actors like Ayushmann or trying to appropriate LGBTQIA identities by cross dressing or wearing nail paint as cis het actors. Like STFU and stop appropriating other identities. And no one wants to believe you are feminist or queer ally or some youth icon.

I just hate the trope of overgrown manchild done to death since last 2 decades now.

Where are unique voices or styles? Where is intense Akshaye of Taal, DCH? Where is happy go lucky Saif of DCH, HSSH? Where is rugged intense Jackie Shroff of Rangeela, Parinda? Where is hulk like Sunny Deol? Where is even a message guy like Aamir of Lagaan, TZP, 3I? Where is charming family man like SRK in DDLJ, KKHH, K3G? Where is mischievous charmer like Salman in HDDCS, PKTDK, HDJPK, CCTC etc? Where is an actor whi can do both Dil and Sarfarosh, Veergati and HDDCS, Darr and KKHH, Ghayal and Betaab?

I was watching an interview of late Raaj Kumar and I was mesmerised by his speech, command over language, posture, gait and persona. Today there is not a single actor who even sounds man enough or speaks any language clearly or properly with correct pronunciation.

Nor is there any solid character actor like Danny, Amrish Kader Khan, Aloknath, Reema Lagoo, AK Hangal, Prem Chopra etc. Remove Anupam Kher, Kirron, Naseer, Neena and we have even more emptiness in today's lot.

Priyanka had potential but has become way too wannabe trying to pass herself off as some American HW star.

I hate her fake accent. I do not remember any good work in Hindi, she did after BM or Dil ko dhadakne do. PC works in fits and starts too.

Has her moments. Deepika is glamour. Never had much acting chops. Her voice work is her biggest weakness. Face may emote. Voice has no emotion at all.

Makes me wonder about what emotion even Rani would bring in her voice despite having a husky and weak voice. How much she improved later.

Deepika relies on beauty, eyes, height and graceful swanlike long neck, limbs and slim waist. Acting wise I did not fins her great shakes in CE, BM, Padmavat, Chhapak or RL either which are supposed to be her biggest films. Deepika never performs with abandon. I find her to be a self conscious and restrained performer. Unlike actresses of past like Sridevi, Hema, Rekha, Rani, Kajol, Lolo, Preity, Bebo, MD etc who would let go and perform with abandon and never looked like they were holding themselves back. Deepika is not a relaxed performer IMO. Quite self conscious onscreen.

I agree, deepika even in her best doesnt let go or have that supreme ease, the effort is obvious, you feel tired looking at the performance

i actually think accent or twang is not a big deal, sharmila tagore, rakhee had proper bong accents when they started, sridevi even till the last had that south indian accent

even vijay sethupathi in farzi and that is not even his best performance

if the ease is there you will ignore the accent
