Prithvi and mammotty knows how to shut up stupid questions from the interviewer and srk knows how to play along with such questions. I remember how prithvi made the interviewer sweat on camera when he said prithvi makes Hollywood type of movies🤣. If given a chance that interviewer would have ran away from there or went back in time and never asked that question.

From what I have seen of Yumna, watching her interviews, the girl is talented but has a very simplistic approach towards everything. I hardly doubt she'd have a complex viewpoint about this whole slap discourse. The director should not have taken her name, especially on such a critical topic. I also think the same. Mostly actresses that are vocal about strong female characters rarely does these kind of shows esp after tasting success. When was the last time saba qamar or sajal Ali played in these type of dramas?

Actresses rarely decreases the standard of their characters after playing highly critically acclaimed characters. I remember seeing a clip of tripti dimri on how she sat home for almost two years after doing Laila majnu since she didn't wanted to do a project that's lesser than Laila majnu. She was financially struggling and was a new comer and she still wasn't ready to compromise on the quality of her work. Then she did bulbul which was amazing and she nailed her character. She is so much more talented than jhanvi or ananya but sadly won't get half their opportunities.

Even though i am liking wahaj yumna's chemistry i still stand by my belief that this drama and the character is beneath an actress like yumna with such calibre. It's like Deepika Padukone going back and doing a housefull 2 or race 2 after getting so much success. She literally don't need to unless she wants to make money. Those are the type of roles that can be done by Jacqueline or disha patani. Deepika ks not needed.

Even if I agree with some of directors justification...70% things that he said makes no sense to me...lol🤪

Ok… Yumna was SO. GOOD. today in the hand holding scene. The way she spoke whisperingly, her saddened, subdued, but completely taken eyes, her tears softly rolling down. She managed to look so delicate, vulnerable, sweet and yet also intensely gorgeous at the same time. No wonder Murtasim couldn’t stop himself from spilling out all those feelings right there, right then.

He took Meerub’s breath away with his words ( backed up by his previous actions and his known character. So, not empty words.) It sounds cliche, but I’ve had this happen only a few times in my life. And both times, it profoundly changed my feelings towards that person. So, I was definitely touched by that scene, just like Meerab. Yumna was so real.

Plus murtasim had no hand in the family politics regarding the fathers....he was equally clueless but she still blamed him for all her parents misery and shoved him away

She was clearly dumbfounded when murtu took her from their angrily and she made it more than clear that she had no intention of looking down on anyone when she danced. Meerab would have had no problem admitting that she danced to piss off murtu when they were alone in their room but she said the same to murtu and maa begum. Except for being a little rude and making murtu eat fish meerab hasn't done anything to take revenge like she said to him during their marriage. She was genuinely sitting there and doing all the works maa begum gave to her and didn't create any fuzz.

Meerab's ego is big? Like murtasim don't have any ego at all. Murtasim's ego and anger ended both of them in the hospital. The accident was completely his fault.

Meerab only says she won't do anything murtasim says and it's mostly only inside their room and between the two. If she was hell bend on disagreeing to everything murtasim says she would have never listened to maa begum and started looking after the finance and those women's problems.
