I'm yet to watch the 2nd & 3rd episode but the 1st episode was good enough. But the way they are releasing all BTS and so much focus on love already - I'm kind of annoyed. 😵

@Bold:
It was touted as a love story since its inception. What made you think they’ll go slow or otherwise show slow burn? 😆
Dhruv Tara have to fall in love.. only a lover will get convinced that his girl is from another era and not a sane doctor 😆

Fair enough. 😉
But just because it's supposed to be a love story, doesn't mean you have to emphasize on LOVE every chance you get. You have to build the premise and introduce us to the people who'll eventually fall in love.
I really liked the way they showed Tara's aspiration to become a physician herself. And her curiosity regarding the apparent cursed palace/forest was a really good touch. 👍🏼 But here her primary motive is to cure her brother. Love will come later. So it felt off with the narrator's final monologue in the pilot episode. 👎🏼
Ishhan's last show too was an out and out love story. But before jumping to the love story, they developed the protagonist's character arc and there was an entire long journey before both of them accepted each other in the true sense. Hence I beg to differ that one has to jump straight in just because of the genre. 🤔
Besides, to believe in someone's claim, one doesn't necessarily have to be in love with her. In CONTINUUM (A sci-fi show based on time travelling) Carlos and Kiera were never involved romantically. But he observed her and connected the dots himself that there was something unusual about Kiera. So when she confessed and told him her side of the story, he believed.
Dhruv is supposed to be an extremely skillful surgeon. It would be absurd if he believes in something like this simply because he's in love with Tara.
