Then Piya should have just found someone else. Someone who really valued her love and commitment, and did not leave her confused about their relationship. Why continue to run behind a mirage when you can just get your happy ending with someone else? Everyone deserves to have healthy love, the whole Ek Tarfa BS logic will just kill you. And since she was the main character in a series, she could legit just get anyone else.

Abhay anyways had his Maithali who was kinda his one true love, he would have had his happy ending with her too if and when she returned from that grave. The main reason he even considered Piya is coz she looked like Maithali, and that is not really the best basis for any love.
