Here’s a simple one shot to follow the pool scene.

He followed in, water dripping.

As she dried up and came out of the bathroom in a clean, dry dress, she stood speechless for a second.

Murtasim was standing in front of the mirror, shirtless, dabbing himself dry.

Me, recovering from her shock: yeh kya batameezi hai??

Murtasim ignores her question

Me: Murtasim?

Mu: Geela Khada rehta tumhare nikalne ka intezaar karte hue?

Me: 2 minute ki baat thi

Mu: waise tum itni bechain kyu ho rahi ho?

Me: Murtasim ek bathroom pool ke paas bhi hai

Mu: ab tum decide karogi ki mujhe konsa bathroom istemaal karna hai?

Meerab, exasperated, hurried ahead and stood with her back facing his, muttering under her breath. Murtasim gazed at her back through the mirror. He smirked. He enjoyed irritating her. He’d cooled down a bit since finding out Bakhtu would make it after all but not enough. A splash in the pool water also helped to simmer his anger down. Or maybe it was Meerab’s splash in the water followed by his chance to ogle at her form which helped.

Mu: mere khayal se tumhe thande pani ki zarurat hai. Shayad bechaini kum hojaye

He smirked to himself again. Meerab still with her back facing his clenched her hands. She could punch him right now.

He moved away from the mirror and spent a few minutes walking around the room shirtless pretending to be at task. He knew he’d be ruffling her feathers a bit more. Meerab decided to throw her weight around and planted herself in the center of the bed, propping both pillows under her head. Her eyes followed his shirtless body while she pretended to bury into her phone. Yeah, he wasn’t getting his bed here either. She had planned to make an exception since he narrowly escaped death and deserved a little TLC but no, he earned his place on the sofa again.

A few minutes later he returned from the bathroom dressed for the night. He stood at the side of the bed.

Mu: mera side khali karo

Me looked at him incredulously. She raised her eyebrows.

Mu: sofa bhi option hain tumhare liye. Humare kamre ke sofe se kafi bada hain. Aaram se so sakti ho, he motioned.

Me: mein sofe pe hargiz nahi so sakti

Mu: as you wish

With that he plopped himself on one side of the bed, yanking one pillow from under her head.

Meerab, grunting, moved to the other end. She didn’t bother pulling the comforter back from him. She was feeling a bit hot anyway.

But somewhere it is not creating the impact on screen, they should have worked more on meerab portrayal . It comes as her being opposing Murtasim’s decisions rather than traditions. It’s like she raises her voice and then phuusss .

They shld really give Meerab some scenes so audiences con connect and understand her POV , her stance is so unclear it’s like she is rebellious but what next ? What is it she wants ??

Looks like I am the only one who enjoyed the episode, barring the fervid, obsessive college friend losing his shit over his girl 'crush' getting married.🤓 I have said earlier, Waqas and Anila can crawl on the ground for all I care, but kambhakt rengte rengte bhi mess create kar rahe hai.🤡 Waqas miyaan's 'only' child is already grappling with identity issues intensified with an almost forced marriage with a 'dangerous weapon' of a husband and he wants to unleash this new hell of 'let's test my parvarish' on her.😕 Khud bhi Meerab kam dangerous nahi hai waise. Jaise ko taisa mila hai.

It is mind-boggling how 'sabko paalne wala' Khan Murtasim Khan wants to avenge the assail on his izzat, his wife, by getting another random woman from the opposite side in hope of 'Aman'. Now he wants the woman to learn maid duties and will possibly marry her off! Gadha! 🤪Your wife is a 'khan', and in your own words, 'jaanasheen ki biwi'. If they had already decided to take this very 'oppressive' and hell of a problematic route, at least could've made it more impactful by getting someone of his wife's social status. It would still remain as repulsive/regressive as it looks now, just the impact would've been intensified.

I will say this again, despite Meerab's rudeness and lack of practical judgment of situations her husband is exposed to, she's still the more relatable of the two. 😆 Murtasim is knotty and perplexing, a misogynistic patriarch and it is only Wahaj's portrayal that is sparing him of all the backlash and criticism. 😔 And Yumna is equally keeping me invested in Meerab, who, if played by some pretty, yet average actress, would have been discarded in the garbage bin by now. 😆 Unpopularly, I do not watch the show to oggle over Wahaj (banda married hai and is a girl-dad, girls) or Murtasim, it is only the potential of what could happen between Meerab and Murtasim that drives me to watch the show. Also unpopularly, Yumna is looking bold and hot onscreen for the first time. The girl is beautiful and it's the styling and makeup that let her down in the initial episodes, not to mention, the writer herself. Murtasim though, in reel, has won in life, because that black suit looked really gorgeous on her tall frame.

Meerab preparing breakfast for him was a cute addition. This girl can fall in love with her husband, given he becomes a true man and does not pull antics like getting another woman in exchange for her honor. I am never forgetting this. 😡

The pool scene was actually good, given its a Pakistani television show. They cannot get the show in trouble for some fan service. Itna hi milna tha. The buildup was the best part though. The music and beat drops were exceptional and thankfully, no bewafayi comedy for them to play anymore. 🤣 Geo seriously needs to stop going overboard with the teasers, it tapers the impact of the scene.

From a farsight, it looks like Meerab and Murtasim's marriage is stuck in turbulence, but if you break it all down ( tried my best to), they are slowly inching towards a beautiful inundation of love and passion. Theirs is a slow slow burn despite the very obvious physical attraction and the flirtatious dalliance. They are fighting hard to become something to each other, Murtasim is trying harder. 😆

The pace is not an issue for me. It is not an Indian soap that will go on for hundreds of episodes, so it's fair enough. Murtasim and Meerab will have their share of romance and conversations amidst all.

Reading the reviews here and I totally get that these two need to sit down over tea and talk but this is definitely not the time. It is a whole lot of turbulence right now and they were never that sane to begin with. These hot-headed pricks will only talk when they are in love and are in submittal to each other. Abhi toh kachcha chabayenge ek doosre ko. Baat naa hi kare toh behtar. 🤣

I have to comment on the accident scene where Khan clearly seems to have lost his cognition and sanity, but I will wait for the episode. 😆

I feel like this rohail will create a MU but as for the pace of the show will not drag much.

Yes i am happy atleast they won't t drag it (finger crossed) because there is only around 35-38 episodes of this show. And we still have to see, haya, rohail, marium plot, Murtasim-Meerab love story, their daughter and their seperation. Kahi drag ka ulta na krde😂 sb cheez rushed.
