Thank goodness, Meerab voiced out her reason to removal of the bullets. Murtasim's concern for Bhaktu was fine but I think he did go overboard over blaming Meerab and calling her selfish. I think this is a character flaw in him in that he's stubborn & right now, not listening properly to Meerab but that's also how he's conditioned.

I kinda felt that education thing over what Meerab was taught about behavior was bit to harsh. I liked that Meerab kept her composure and her stance at the same time. Sorry but I kinda found Murtasim's reaction bit OTT at times.

Where Meerab goes overboard was removing all the bullets. I guess the point was neither was wrong but the way the conversation was handled gave out mixed response over their behavior,

Last time a teaser caught my attention and I watched a show from day 01 was almost decade back so when randomly on YT , TB teaser popped up I was intrigued all thanks to Wahaj and Yumna chemistry, I haven’t seen Wahaj before and Yumna is name I heard but never followed any of her soap’s except of PKS.

back to point the fact that show enticed me is all thanks to chemistry and yes amazing promotions, production values , the grandeur and also well cut teaser so yes kudos to you , So when u have invested so much couldn’t you also allocated little more budget to writing team??

Means what is your end game?? Successful OTT show right ?? Little more effort it would have got ur more urban audience too .

I don’t watch shows for logic , they are more for entertainment but even on name of entertainment I wish you could have given me little respect 🫡. Matlab I have two burning questions as what exact purpose these served in progression of the story

1. Murtasim slapping meerab

Was it to grab audience attention ?? Well she still could have ranted and lashed out at him , he could have roared and raised his hand and she could have fainted. In fact Meerab getting behosh in Murtasim arms due to all fatigue and him getting Madhosh with her in his arms and caressed her cheeks could have still stirred the lions and grabbed many eye balls . Yes all this without Anwar and haya in background would have added more to aesthetic value too.

Had there been no slap 👋 you could have retained a section of audience who left the show. Why bring the slap when it did nothing to story except of fandom crying over that whenever it remembers.

2. Izzat ke badle main izzat

Actually now i am confused whose izzat it is they are talking ?? Meerab or Murtasim or Bhaktu’s or Bhakri ki bachae??

If you had to show Murtasim pulling himself away from meerab , I think kidnapping and unloading gun is enuf of reasons for him to get pissed off? Why need this shitty plot when it won’t be addressed? Now they met with accident also and the izzat lady will be buried chapter ? Why bring out this age old tradition when you didn’t have to address the societal issue ? Without this izzat lady also, Murtasim talk with meerab and accident is enuf of fooder for meerab to sit and re-evaluate her marriage and what is it she wants ?? Intentional or unintentional this is second time she has jeopardised his life when he has been the one who was trying for this marriage to work ! so this gives more than enuf premise for plot where meerab will try to work on marriage.
If you really wanted to bring societal issue then meerab asking Murtasim her wish to study and him getting tested up and finally allowing her would have been such praise worthy track.

Please don’t think I am asking logic in name of entertainment , if logic is what k wanted here is list

1. If whole khandaan knew about meerab being anwars daughter how is it in last 20-25 years not even single rumour floated .

2. If they knew meerab is go back to tht house as daughter in law , why not groom her for that role from start? Maa begum had no idea how meerab was turning out to be?

3. What khandaan where the girl is 21 and guy is 28 and still not married ?? By this age people have 1/2 kids too.

4. Like why was Murtasim never taken into confidence and told meerab will be his wife ?

I still have many …..

So please 🙏 you always don’t need too much illogical plots to make show entertaining! They can be OTT minus the regressive bull shit !

PS- I am not quitting on show but given its limited series and already 20 episodes have been aired I needed to vent out .

PPS- Sorry girls for the rant! I will go back to watching Wahaj in pool in loop and wait for Hasan’s review. Beisde you all he is only who seems to understand the plight

Episode was good like not fabulous but entertaining... pool was underwhelming mainly because it was a repeat of promos ...

Damn the editor why cut off meerab splashing bit??? Guess they should separately release lots of unedited meerism scenes for us

But somewhere it is not creating the impact on screen, they should have worked more on meerab portrayal . It comes as her being opposing Murtasim’s decisions rather than traditions. It’s like she raises her voice and then phuusss .

They shld really give Meerab some scenes so audiences con connect and understand her POV , her stance is so unclear it’s like she is rebellious but what next ? What is it she wants ??
