I'll start with the start, post leap they implied that Virat was living in memories of Sai even though married to Pakhi and he had no intentions to move on but due to family pressure he decided to give her a chance as a friend, but before that Sai appears, the love turned into anger due to obvious reasons, Jagtap angle fueled it more, so he started making moves towards Pakhi out of jealousy to prove that if Sai can move on, he can too, example whole anniversary fiasco, after that he wanted her to leave, but Savi's truth came, which again turned his anger into rage and he did all those nonsense, in between the narrative threw some of the fbs from both the side to show that there are still feelings, also Virat hesisting to work with Sai was also a sign that he still has feelings, there were some of the subtle eye locks during their police station track to prove that both Sai and Virat are not yet over each other, but then there was Pakhi too, and they were building her insecurity track parallelly...............the landmark track was of the accident track, bcoz although the execution was somewhat faltered but they were quite sucessful to convey through the dialogues of the characters that For Virat Sai is always first and he saved her bcoz he loves her, see they implied that when Virat found Sai in that state, for him everything else was blank and he couldn't think anyone, hence when Pakhi fell down, he had that immense guilt that what her situation is bcoz of him, also during that time in his convo with Ashwini, he said that he cannot love Pakhi, but he give in to those emotional blackmails of Pakhi and family and decided to move on, he cut all the ties with Sai except Savi, but he was gloomy and sad, the whole Phera and Honeymoon sequence was the proof of it and after that Vinu's revelation happened and that hug was the game changer, he started to long for her and as he said all the anger and disappointed he had towards Sai went away with that hug, after that he saw her in new light and is shown to be pinning for her and their love and to have a happy family with his love Sai and their kids, but the biggest obstacle is Pakhi, the duty..........

In short it was always implied that Virat never fell out of love with Sai, he was always in love with Sai, even when she left and even after she returned but he used to suppress those emotions due to various reasons, circumstances and specially misunderstandings but now that almost all misunderstandings are clear, it's hard for him to suppress those emotions and feelings that he feel for her..........

Regarding that Mesmerising vala scene, that scene was aired on 8th December, usee Didi ka Birthday Gift samaj ke bhul jao😆

You explained post leap Virat's behavior very well. When the leap happened Virat was still shown to be missing Sai. He hadn't moved on from his dead wife and was unable to accept his current wife. After he came to know Sai was alive his pain changed to anger and rage and then due to this anger, ego and also because of his marriage with Pakhi, he started suppressing his feelings for Sai. He stopped listening to his heart and did what his brain told him to do. I feel he started softening it up for Sai only after Sai saved Pakhi's life. This action of hers touched him a lot not because she saved his current wife's life but because she saved him from the lifelong guilt he would have lived with if Pakhi had lost her life.

The cafe hug opened up his heart. He finally decided to pay attention to what his heart says and started dreaming of a family with her, Vinu and Savi. Till then he had this impression in his mind that Sai never gave importance to him that's why she left him but when she told him she was expecting him to stop her he realized she did value him so much in her life.

The reason it's hard for people to relate to Virat is because his words say something and his actions show the opposite.

Wow Shree you have summarized the post leap really well . I agree with your take but they were two places where I felt V had fallen out of love with Sai though he never fell for Pakhi . Virat cherished all his memories of Sai for really long but he forgot their anniversary day and on the same day he had remembered his first meet with Pakhi so clearly . Second one was whenever he asked P to look into his eyes to prove he never loved Sai I found it genuine . He was not effected by Sai much when he carried around to treat officers during the accident scene where Sairat saves Virat’s team .Between P-Sai cafe scene and accident track there was confusion about his feelings

Yeah that was the put off for me too, but we have to believe that whole pre accident sequence were to create some supsense and hype and hence those first meet remembering, the first meet dress and all, you won't believe but bcoz of all this I actually believed that Pakhi will actually not return for some time😆and this is what the makers wanted ppl to believe so trp increases 😆, otherwise those first meet and all I still don't understand, I still remember I was so pissed off with the episodes that time, bcoz it was Savi's birthday, Sairat anniversary but they chose to focus on Virat Pakhi first meet, even hotstar description was like that😵

But anyway it just didn't add anything to the whole scheme of the plot except some amount of cringe and drag, regarding Virat forgetting Sairat anniversary, we have to assume that he didn't know what was the date that day actually 😆, sometimes in real like too we forget the dates ki aaj konsi date hein, but he did look quite content and happy when it came out that their anniversary and their daughter's birthday is on same day, he had a dialogue too regarding it and Pakhi didi gave him a Stare😆

Regarding Police station track, no they were affected specially Virat, there were eye locks, some were intense, also some scenes implied that Sai's presence used to distract Virat and vice versa, that whole track was for that only ....

Virat should stop touching pakhi… it is getting problematic because next moment he touches sai 😡😩

May be his love for sai is always there and sai also loves him still, but the difference between there anger and love is clearly shown. Although he sent sai to jail for 2 days, when he came to meet savi in the night and he got hurt at the door sai immediately reacted to it but he like a psycho went inside and locked the door and started radio. All his love started only after sai's meltdown. I always feel his love come out only when sai is in vulnerable state or completely surrendered to him. He does not like sai who is strong headed and fight for the right with his family. He likes her attitude for outsiders but not Chavannis. The blurry scene in HM and the words he used for sai like teesri and hiding vinu truth as pakhi can not be pregnant anymore made him worst for me.

I like the chemistry between sai and Virat and I may enjoy them in coming episodes but I never want sai to forgive Virat and go back to him. Please show some virat's redemption Vanku so that I can enjoy sairat scenes like before.

The biggest put off for me was the love puppy mesmerised look he gave to patralekha when she wore that old dress. I could let go of every other unpalatable scene but this was the worst for me. I have almost forgotten it now. It has been 2 months but now that I see half of the scenes post leap were just for that specific track and has no contribution to the overall scheme of things.

Savi's reveal sealed that Sai didnt move on.

The cafe hug showed Sai regrets leaving him. Probably still loves him

The trauma showed she wants him if not for him marrying Pakhi.

At every step, he opened up more. The last one is a clincher for him. Sai wants him back!! Thats all he wanted to know. Previously he knows she loves him, but might not want him back. During trauma breakdown, she chided him for leaving her. She said, all the people who she loved leaves her. He assured he never left her. The confidence in his gait after church confession, actually comes from the fact that Sai loves him and wants him too.

But I dont know how he thinks he will get her back, when he is married to Pakhi. That we need to wait and watch. And thats where I dont want her to come back to him easily.

It's not that it was at times it did look he still loves her at times no feelings nothing no effect seems to have gotten over from her, moved on. What about those scenes with Pakhi. How do you justify that?

If he knew she didnt move on still loves him or wants him back why he's continuing the marriage. Biggest surprise was how he continued moving on process with P after Savi's revelation. If that's the case why he was afraid of Sai getting angry with his love confession?

What happened in that breakdown scene. Can you elaborate.

It's not like after that scene he was shown to be having desire for her either loool. I was shocked that scene literally cut me off whatever lil hopes I wished for SaiRat.

Regrading your question , as per my understanding Virat had two main issues with Sai . One she left him and never returned back to him because their relationship meant nothing to her and second was because of her decision they lost Vinu . The second reason was not openly said but it was there deep down . To certain extent I can understand Virat’s first reason , people reach out to their loved ones forgetting their anger after going through a major accident , losing their son and getting pregnant again but Sai choose not to .

With Vinu’s reveal , the second one was no longer an issue so he started getting soft towards Sai hence he wanted to inform her first about Vinu and asked for a family hug after saving the kids from Pratap . With the hug at the cafe , Virat saw Sai’s vulnerable side and realized he still meant something to her . Virat was always insecure about Sai’s feelings for him and her hiding her emotions under the facade of strong women never went well with V because he interrupted it as she not being effected by their separation or him . With the hug he knew she wanted him to stop her and she wanted him as much as he wanted her pre leap . That boasted his ego .

Regrading the look after HM scene , Sai was throwing daggers at him and was openly taunting him so he got into defense mode . He never understood the real reason behind Sai’s anger that day if he had known what she went through last night imagining him with Pakhi his attitude would be different. At the same time , he has to protect his precious Pakhi from getting hurt when Vinu wanted to call Sai as choti Maa .

But by that logic he was heartbroken was long as both Sai & Vinu were dead? What if he found out Vinu but not Sai? His anger at Sai for that reason I didn't understand. He wasn't happy with her being alive? So far he didn't show or express that after finding out she's alive since the leap. Also, recently did he not admit it was his mistake. And how come he got a jolt with karishma's words then.

He thought Sai no longer wanted him preleap? And what about him did want to stop her or not.

No. But he had that look towards Sai at the dhaba sequence even before Vinu started choti mumma jaap. He looked angry seeing over there her presence.

So if Sai now openly states to him it hurts her seeing him with Pakhi. He'll maintain distance from P. Wasn't he doing the same with Sai after accident track of Didi & why he's not distancing himself now from Sai when P is making expressing so openly about SV to Virat 😆

The scene b4 the picnic was screwed by Neil..he was supposed to be surprised but it gave out wrong emotions..

The anger on himself and Sai on losing their son was gone when he found out Vinu was alive..The cafe hug and the way they regretted their actions on that fateful day erased all the distance and his feelings were brought back.

The whole honeymoon sequence and his behavior in the dhaba was really unwanted and as you said it spoilt the connection

I just didn't connect to his emotions towards Sai post leap most of the times. In flip seconds his emotions towards Sai kept on changing without any reason as if they just wanted to make him stay angry in unemotional mode towards her unnecessarily mostly. It was bizzare. Seemed forced anger. Unwanted anger.

How do you know of the scene before picnic? If that's the case retake should've been done.

Feeding wasn't needed as Sai didn't witness it. And his behaviour in the anniversary party before Sai's arrival was ambiguous too 😕
