“Beautiful world of Heeramandi” “Regal women of Heeramandi” and I even saw a tweet saying “the women were queens”. The marketing is going way overboard here. This is about a red district life and all these ladies were prostitutes living in brothels. They may have had strength of character and bravery in the face of life’s severe hardships and society’s judgments, but there’s nothing beautiful about having to sell your body for survival, specially keeping the time and culture in mind. I doubt any of ladies in the history of Heeramandi was there out of their own choice.

Everyone in the poster and video has nice, pleasing personality.

Sonakshi and Aditi looking beautiful and quite fit for the role.

They all look good/ full fledge for the role of courtesan unlike Alia Bhai in Gangubhai.

I will miss Reena Roy in it as she had been offered a mujra by Bhansali that she regretfully rejected.
