Part 2 (Shriz, bro lo Anuj ne suna diya Anupama ko aur khari khoti)

After that incident, Anuj started ignoring her. He used to come late and leave early so that he did not have to see her. As usual, he was working late in the office, and suddenly he remembered that today is his marriage anniversary. He closed the file. All the memories started flashing in his mind. He took his car keys and drove to a bar he frequents these days.

In Kapadia Mansion, Anupama is waiting for him to reply to the messages she sent him. All of a sudden, her phone rang and a smile came to her face.

Anupama: Hello Anuj. Where..

Anuj's phone: Ma'am, can you please come and pick him up? He's drunk out of his mind.

Anupama: Tell me the address, I am coming right away.

After half an hour reached the spot, and the bar attender helped her to bring him to the car. Anupama watched Anuj through the mirror as she drove home.

Anuj: Today is our marriage anniversary. (He had a smirk on his face) That marriage where my wife did not have any time for me. Last year, on this day, I thought that I had the whole world, but now, after a year, I have lost everything. First, I lost Choti then you. Oh, wait (He started laughing). How can I lose you? Anuj: Family? You mean your ex-husband's family, right? You did a great favor to me by loving and marrying me. I am so honored to be your husband. Thank you so much. (Clapping) You thought I was good enough for you, I'm so honored.

Anupama: My two kids were against our marriage, yet I proposed to you in front of everyone. I already had three kids, yet for your happiness, I accepted to be Choti's mom and loved her with everything I had. I was always there when she needed me.

Anuj: Really? Because if I am not mistaken, someone didn't make it to the dance show as making khichdi was more necessary. When my daughter was crying for her mom in the midst of the night, someone chose to be with her granddaughter, who had a complete family to take care of her. And did I force you to say yes to fostering? You could have denied but you did not do that as well. Because of your quest for greatness and my foolishness, I lost my daughter.

I do. But not the current Anuj. I have written both parts Imagining the Anuj prior to his first accident. I don't expect anything from this dodo. But the Anuj I admired would never be able to say all these if he is sober, that's why I made him say all these when he is drunk.
