  • A Poem a Day - Such a cute show

Basically any Korean show will fulfil the opposites attract theme. No one does it better than them. 💕

Turkish Romance does great romance and give you the best eye candy, 😉

  • Ask Latfan Anlamaz
  • Black & White Love
  • Kiralik Ask (Love for Rent)
  • Hercai

these are all shows 😒

Have you seen a 6 episodes mini K series "Queen of the Ring"? It's a sweet romance with opposites attract theme.. Just half an hour episodes are there so perfect for binge watch too!

It's not there on netfliz or hulu but you can watch it here.

Khala, the Korean recommendations are 16 episodes. It’s like watching 16 Rom Com movies. 😭 I promise you, you’ll fall in love with them. Let me find movies for you in the meantime.

Most of hallmark is too sugary for me but I liked Royal winter. It's not exactly opposites in personalities but the lead characters are really likable. They also have the best version of lavenders blue song imo.

You must've seen The proposal already? One of the better romcoms out there imo.

Now to fully timepass zone: 27 dresses, ugly truth, what happens in vegas, just my luck, holidate, after the ball.

If you have stomach to endure annoying people and still want to watch same cheese new packing(movies I particularly don't like but fall in the category) : royal treatment, wedding season, midnight at magnolia.

I'll edit add as I remember.

Last time I asked this question, everyone recommended Ugly Truth. I watched it and hated it. Didn’t like Gerard Butler’s character at all. Very unlikeable.

Anyway, rant over

Have seen all others from your recs except Midnight at Magnolia! Will check it out. Thank you! 💕

Also, I can only watch Hallmark movies after Thanksgiving and before Christmas. I’m weird but I find them really boring otherwise because the people they pick in those movies can barely act!

Even though it's mainly a Fantasy comedy (time loop), it did have a good romantic plot.

Warm bodies (2013)

Romantic zombie comedy. Literally opposite people falling in love; one is dead other is living. 😉

Interesting. How does it end? In cannibalism?

Is there a romcom that is NOT based on opposites attract?

Edit: If you don’t dislike old HW movies, I can recommend couple of hilarious romcoms

Probably. But I haven’t seen them all, have I?

oh please do! Roman Holiday and Breakfast at Tiffany’s are my favorites! I go back to them every year!

"Pillow Talk" and "Lover Come Back" with Doris Day and Rock Hudson are my fav romcoms

Both have similar storylines - opposites hate each other which turns into love with mistaken identity thrown in... Pillow Talk is more popular but I think Lover Come Back is better

"How to steal a million" with Audrey Hepburn and Peter O'Toole...

Also have you seen the 1997 romcom "That Old Feeling", I realy liked it but the imdb rating is low... He a paparazzi and she the target and a new bride, but they fall in love
