I watched it last night

Ekdum fulltoo mast picture. Its sad that it has gone pretty much unnoticed, even though it is probably the best movie of the year so far.

The satire, the dark humor and the performances were just spot on. Ayushmann proving that he is not limited to playing the "middle class, good at heart" guy

Just finished watching it! Some of the scenes were so damn good that I rewinded and watched it again just to laugh. I don’t remember the last time I enjoyed watching a Hindi movie so much. There was so much dark humor in this. It was right up my alley. Jaideep Ahlwaat was soooooo good, man. His bone chilling but hilarious portrayal reminded me of Javier Bardem from No country for old men. Ayushman was amazing as usual. He totally pulled off all the action scenes! Even the character actors who played the cop, reporter, TV journalist were so damn good! The inclusion of the Don character was an icing on the cake. 🤣 There was so much throwback humor about Bollywood shenanighans. I can’t. I am definitely going to watch it again!

Dude that's my most favorite villain portrayal EVER. But yes, there were shades of him a bit. When shots get fired in the UK in Ayushman's home... my jaw dropped to the floor 🤣

I loved it too and watched it with my sister who did not like it as much. Made me think that it might not be everyone's cup of tea.

I was laughing out loud in so many scenes, I thought Jaideep Ahlawat stole the show however.

My favourite scenes were with the newsreporter impersonating - Arnab Goswami, reminded me of golden age of Indian Youtube with TVF and AIB.

First time hearing about this movie , is it a recent release ?

Yes, last year in December...did not make a mark in theatres.

I watched it online now because of the recommendation here.

Didn't get the same enthusiastic feeling as other members here because both the leads lacked a bit of intensity in my eyes and I couldn't really connect to the story (and hence to the lead character).

Nevertheless interesting to watch Ayushmann in another avatar.

I think there is a lot of meta in the movie.... a lot of context is needed to get the satire...

I actually enjoyed watching a Bollywood movie first time after Andhadhun.... so thought everyone might l enjoy... Clearly highly subjective looks like ... not for everyone and maybe that's why didn't fly at the box office...

Yeah, subtitles (and I have to relate on them) far too often don't get the subtlety...
