In Overseas, Hindi films are dubbed as per the region. I don't think Pathaan Hindi version is used for Overseas, it must have been dubbed as per country. China mein Release nahi hui, else it would have got Mandarin dubbed version.

No, Pathaan was not dubbed anywhere. It was Hindi with subtitles. There was only a Tamil and Telugu dub in India but they don't make much money.

why wasn't it released in China?

With Pakistan $50 could have been possible. Nevermind this will still be 10-15 million higher than top Origin Hindi overseas collection.

China only allows one or two movies to release each year. English Vinglish is releasing there now after years.

Also Indian producers only get a tiny percentage of money from China so it just looks big on paper but you make peanuts from China.
