I knew it they are going to make Maaya obsess over Anuj and Anupamaa's live in general to make her evil and elevate Maa Anupa Maa 007 Kaamwali Bai.

On a side note Maaya and Anuj do look good (sorry) she dresses and acts more like a Kapadia(I mean they make more of a power couple) ... plus she would give him and CA undivided attention (sorry to all Maa's pankhes)

True for once maybe they could have shown to women not pitted against each other and fighting over a guy. Like they simply could have opted for custody or come to some agreement but no... to elevate the lead couple the rest have to be maligned. Cause I think sympathy is with Maaya especially after knowing her background and how she helped other women there and the trails she faced to get to her daughter. So she has to steep low for Anupamaa to gain sympathy (just my opinion)

Unfortunately, the way they are portraying MaaYaa is only gaining more sympathy for her and more hate for Deviji and her loyal sidekick. And yet, there are delusional folks in the fandom (see Twitter), jo abhi bhi iss couple ke and mahaan Deviji ke gungaan kar rahe hain.

As a woman of this century, I despise the way women are portrayed in this serial. For me, a strong woman is someone who takes a stand for herself and does NOT need a man to define her. Also, someone who does not hide behind traditions to justify wrongdoing of the so called elders. And, more importantly, someone who does not hide behind 50 page Bhashans when it comes to actually DOING something decisive. Basically, a woman of this century is NOT riddled with ‘Mahanta Syndrome’, like the titular character of this show.

Neutral fans also not liking the maaya track they want end this maaya track

Plus I hate the all just cause she is a mother she needs to support her children's stupidity and they can treat her badly and yet she would love them unconditionally.

Sometimes I wonder if she even deserved Devika's support. I would say she is the best example of an empowered woman. Like even if we say unlike Devika, Anupamaa didn't complete her studies and was subjected to much emotional abuse resulting in her lack of confidence and social skills... and that believable and it does happen to people. But sadly the writers never changed her graph... she always wanted to live and do things for herself but yet is often doing things for the Shah.... doesn't practice what she preachs. And that's what is frustrating about Anupamaa. Not to mention they also ruined Kinjal (her handling of her relationships with Rakhi and Toshu), Samar (he treated Nandini so badly... either call him out or couldn't they have chosen a better break-up [cause they broke up as the actress playing Nandini quot the show]), Anuj... he went from one of the best characters to I am sorry a shitty one... his behavior with Maaya and Sushmaa.... They made him Acha mard... when was actually wrong... but they called him wrong and egotistical and unreasonable for asking Anupamaa to focus on him and their daughter when he was actually right....also how are these people so casual about Ankush's son ??? Itni aam baat hai kya.... atleast Vanraj and Toshu's cheating has reactions and both were initially kicked out but with Ankush every one is like super chill.... is it cause they are used to it by now....

If you ponder on it, this is karmic.

MaAn have been giving the "You snooze you lose" logic to Maaya, that they found CA when she had no parent to claim her, so now she is taken. Doesn't matter if it was a medical emergency.

Now time for MAA to taste her own medicine. Maaya will impress CA and pataofy Puppy in MAA's absence because MAA isn't there to claim it. Doesn't matter if it is a medical emergency.

Medical emergency is recent... Anupamaa has been taking Anuj-CA for granted for a long time now
