I came across an old interview of Sonam with Rajkumar Rao and it was so cringe. Sonam said something about how she had to audition for her first movie and she wanted to be AD with SLB and her father had never worked with SLB. She said my father said work with Vidhu and someone else, and Sonam said no I want to work with SLB and she thinks that is big struggle for her.

I think this film has incurred some losses that's why they're asking for such a high fee. I vaguely remember it being filmed during the pandemic (or at least starting to) and they paid a big price for the south korean rights. The problem is that now there's no way this will open as well other female-centric films in cinemas aren't doing great, but at least Taapsee can get a lot of OTT viewers....is anyone really going to watch Sonam act if she's not being pretty? (I mean yes there are Sonam fans but besides them)
