Saw the BTS. Did not like Katha's dialogues. What is this "aap bade hain, haq hain hum par naaraz hone ki". Though I really understand Papa G 's mindset I don't like Katha talking like this.

I can understand what is papaG's pov but I simply can't digest the fact that katha is so lenient and forgiving towards him and on other side she is so full of hatred for viaan.

I can give whole lots of points in Viaan's favour-

1. Viaan didn't know the reason for which katha wanted money and had no reason to find out on his own because katha had lied to get job.

2. Viaan's past play important role in his belief that women are gold digger.

3. Viaan is seriously repenting.

4. Viaan has asked for forgiveness even before knowing the truth and kept asking after it also.

5. Viaan is genuinely trying to change his views about women and its showing in his decisions, actions, attitude also.

6. Whatever happened, Viaan's money did saved aarav.

Now coming to papaG-

1. This man has no such past which will make him doubtful about middle class women. He was just being an egoistic rich man while thinking of katha as gold digger.

2. He didn't forgive his own son even after the marriage when he apologized many times.

3. He didn't even see his grand kid's face that much hatred he had in him.

4. He didn't come around even when aditya died.

5. He refused to help katha and even went ahead and cursed her already dying child and also had death wish for her.

6. He is the main reason katha had to accept Viaan's proposal.

7. He wasn't ready on his own to help. He did that only because mamaG threw a tantrum about it. And he specifically mentioned it also that he is agreeing only for mamaG.

8. When he finally offered help he wanted katha to be thankful and he was hurt when she said she doesn't need them now. That much ego this man has.

9. He only melted when he saw aarav and hugged him and this man wanted everyone to forget and forgive everything at that very moment.

10. His attitude towards gareeb log may still have not changed.

11. He is one irresponsible jerk taking aarav with him without informing katha.

Now, katha'a experience with viaan may have a lot more impact on her and her self esteem but that doesn't negates all the above points. I don't want her to immediately forgive viaan but she shouldn't be all mahaan bahu while dealing with papaG either. Atleast she shouldn't have double standards of parameters for two of them to forgive and move on.

Great post and I agree!! Yeh dekhne ke baad mera bhi reaction same tha.. Her dialogues in this scene are so stupid I swear to god.. 'Aapko haq hai humpe naraaz hone ka' ..Seriously? 😡 There is a world of difference between naraaz hona and saying stuff like 'tum maa bete mar jaao' or 'main tumhare bete ko baddua bhi nahi dunga' Her son was dying for god's sake.. and she says stuff like 'aap humare bade hai' 😠

I just watched a few scenes of Arabic version and they showed FL struggling with the idea of forgiving this man and I swear ek do scenes main mujhe jyaada connect feel hua uss FL ke saath than our FL and I'm not even really watching that show.. just skimming through.. She says to her MIL ki 'what about all the pain this man that caused me.. if I hadn't found money then my son would have been dead and you want me to just forgive' then she rants to her best friend ki 'ab sab theek hai toh sab hero banna chahte hai, main akeli fight kar rahi thi tab kaha the? and now I'm just supposed to forgive?' I was like YES!!! This is what I want!! Send this dialogue writer here 😆

I'm not saying that PapaG should never be forgiven.. If Viaan can be forgiven (eventually) so can he but not like this .. Some struggle from Katha's side is all I wanted but utna bhi nahi mila.. Highly disappointed 👎🏼

True. I have no objection if katha wants to forgive papaG but the much needed dilemma, anger was not shown here as it was there in OG. Apart from that phone call where she says she doesn't need his money now, i didn't think katha ever showed any anger towards him. By the time mamaG's party came katha had very conveniently forgotten everything and forgiven him already.

Aarav aur ehsan ke overdose ko thoda kam karke ek do scene dikha sakte the jaha katha is struggling to forgive papaG.

Original also FL forgive the FIL had a great relationship after that !

I like the OG female lead she has “ back bone “ she was kind to others but not a “ door mat “ She never let any one step on her .

That disappoints me !

OR lady had guilty feeling after ONS .. Tore of the black dress she wore and crying on the streets . Her Katha finds only Viaan is guilty , that is fine !

Indian version FL totally lacks self respect and spine , at this rate I think she will move back to her dead husband’s father’s home

I was surprised “ How cunning his Mom was , instigating son against Viaan , she knows her son is good for nothing so getting Katha by his side will help son to be independent ,

Teju ( how weird & crazy she is also) never has this mentality ( until today’s epi)

Katha no spine

Eshan over the top irritating , I better stick to the OG which was such a “ Romantic story “

Leads were in love in real life too , such amazing chemistry and pure love it had

I can’t bear one more “ Mahan ITV FL” enough of that special species found only on ITV

There are beautiful dramas for time all around the globe , now that we have internet language or country is not a barrier !

For me only breather is MamaG , until now she is shown with such elegancy ( Even PapaG) Reeth & family also is good .

Hope the makers will reduce “ annoying Eshan’s scenes “Start focusing on Katha & Viaan more

OG and Arabic version dono me tha aur bas yaha pe change kar diya writers ne.. Wah 🤦‍♀️ How hard would it have been to show some anger and struggle.. On top of that her dialogues are too typical ITV FLesqe.. 😑

Jabki she is flawed as any other character

Her character is giving a very wrong message that be strong in front of someone who exploited u sexually (did paap acc to her) but rest of the duniya k liye bichch jao goat types
