Maya is pretty but she needs to gain some weight. I missed her look during manmayal and diyar e dil times.

Only some of them. But Maya I agree never ages. She still looks the same as she did 10 years ago.❤️

The first twenty minutes were basically useless to me because neither maya or bilal were introduced.

Kim and dawood meet at the airport, they’re cousins. Maya whispers to her dad he looks like a terrorist . Doesn’t want to get in the car with him but her dad says that’s his nephew there’s nothing to be scared of . Dawood is dressed in traditional Islamic clothing with the headcap so Kim is already starting off problematic. I’m pretty sure dawood heard her , He seems angry by the time they get home .

Maya’s dad seems to have tension with the family because he rejected his cousin and moved to America . The cousin died soon afterwards so the uncle who’s daughter it was holds a grudge against him . This is Kim’s father’s first time home after 27 years

lol, maya’s character is already seen as too western for the house . Girl is wearing a shirt with a long sleeve blazer and the cousin is acting like she wore a short dress. The cousins talk about Maya’s character in front her thinking she doesn’t speak Urdu because she was brought up in america . She speaks udru, they’re shocked , the episode ends.

This was just an episode to introduce the characters. Not bad but not that exciting either .

Is it just me who has never understood the hype around Bilal Ashraf? The guy is a mediocre actor and an above average loking individual at best. I have never seen him have any sort of screen presence and yet he behaves as if he's some big shot. I just don't get it.

Do you think method actor Wahaj Ali would have been a better option?

God no. Maya is his cousin. Would be super wierd. But then, I loved the chemistry between Ali Abbas and Ramsha Khan in Ghisi Piti Mohabbat and they are real life cousins. So you never know.

PS. I know you meant your question sarcastically, but yes, Wahaj does a better job at his worst than Bilal does at his best. Why just wahaj, I think Danish Taimoor, Farhan Saeed, Bilal Abbas Khan and many others would have done it better. So there.

Wahaj is not maya's cousin. They are family friends and I guess they were class fellow but no they both are not cousins
