Indian serials need to get better at portraying real life scenarios.

In the UK the Soap actors visits the organisations such as Victims of DV to get an insight and understanding how well they give full justice to the upcoming situation.

The sets have qualified peeps to guide the scene appropriately, the producers carryout researches so they don't get the sensitive issues wrong.

They have Script supervisors so story line and Characters's traits are consistent.

And last of all they resolve the issue and move onto the new track and Announcer at the end of the episode announces if you have been effected by this issue pls call this number for support.

If this show started doing this now they would be saying it at the end of every episode

It is so sad that once Abhi use to get jealous of Dr Rohan's dosti with his Akshu and now is confiding in him😢.

Yeh dosti hum nahin todenge, cause I can so see Abhi as AB and Rohan as Dharmendra in the Precap.

Every character has lacked communication between their relationships and only Abhira are always blamed for this.

On my insta I get old clips of Abhira everyday on my feed and the one where Akshu said to Abhi whatever happens we promise to be together for ever when she saved that baby with Abhi.

And the one where she asked him to save her and not the twins if he had too

It breaks my heart when I see the promises made and broken 💔

That akshu is dead! He killed her!! Each separation slowly took the life out of her!

I pity abhi he lost everything!! But one question why isn't he happy? Was he not the one who told ak he needs to focus on the people he has left? His mom etc etc etc

Is he guilty about divorce?

Is he guilty about accusing akshu?

Is he guilty for not contacting her?

Or is he sad that she moved on?

Is he sad that he still loves her?

What does he expect from ak? Is she a toy? Use and throw? Divorce her whenever he wants and once everything is good he can get her back? His lack of concern already shows he doesn't see her as human!

Akshu dialogues are strange 🤔 I skipped most of it!!

She's lost the plot forget nav being the psycho, akshu needs serious metal health check up! Otherwise she will really become Akshara the serial killer 😵‍💫

It is the same in most western countries.

With indian serials this has been my gripe for a long time. It is my personal view only. I feel they just dont take it seriously enough. They have such a great opportunity to raise awareness, influence and educate the viewers, especially as trp audience tend to be mostly house wives and/or from rural areas. They do show very relevant issues but use it to just create drama and dont present them realistically, so the underlying message gets lost. Makes it easy for audience to just ignore it and watch the drama.

I dont watch Anupama, but I believe the popularity was because the struggles of a house wife were presented well. I hear even that has now gone down the usual itv way.

@bold, they wouldnt be on air for this long either. I am sure there is a governing body to monitor what is shown on tv, wonder if they have the power to dictate what is shown and mandate disclaimers and inclusion of help line numbers. Having said that India is progressing on many fronts so may be slowly this will change for the better.

very sad indeed Shobha. I have been watching the old episodes too and when I see the love, understanding and the care they had for each other, I get a lump in my throat looking at them now behaving like they are each other's curse🥺

I get so annoyed with the makers, post wedding, there were so many progressive tracks that were sure shot TRP spinners they could have gone with. Yet they chose to go with the same old 1980's concept. Only progression shown is the instant divorce being the solution for all issues.

It is such a shame, they have such talented actors in their kitty but have and continue to waste their talent on non sensical tracks.

Definitely a wasted opportunity, if only they had shown a beautiful tadap love story at the beginning and then some beautiful moments of a happy marriage and pregnancy, bringing up Abhir together therafter this separation wouldn't be so bad.

Birla house would have had 4 babies in the house to play with if there had been no leap💔.

Dont know if this has already been called out.
