There are problems with the movie but the kind of hooting that happened in the cinema, I haven't experienced it before...

Tbh at this point I absolutely don't mind how the movie is. All my concern is Box office success. We tend to criticize good movies bcoz they have not been commercially successful.

SRK just threw a movie that people would like and have accepted to such extent that it's going bonkers and may break all existing records.

SRK has 2 more movies this year I want one of them to break even more records despite having a weak story. 😊

As far as acting is concerned SRK is no match. Si yeah only collection matters. 😎

There are things that happened in SRK's life which just came at the "right time". I think, what's happening now, belongs to that.

Ups and downs are part of life, in nature, in humans lives...and SRK had his share of that. Every turn in his life has asked for a decision to make, but that is nothing special as we all have to make decisions without knowing the outcome.

The way I look at SRK and his life gave me the feeling that he is one of those persons who never stop to learn, to find solutions, to believe that the most important fight is the one with yourself, that your most powerfull enemy is the one in yourself.

Everything in nature (and we are part of it) is made out of opposing forces, so are our emotions - the negative ones are destructive, the positive ones beneficial. The enemy in ourself obviously belongs to the destructive species thus rejoicing in negative feelings...

I think you get the gist...

It was just time that mounting destructive forces would get a setback...the wish for positivity needed an opportunity to get expressed...and as the movies are an integral part of Indian life it was one thing, every common person could decide in a positive or negative way...and it seems that the overwhelming decision was for positive feelings.

SRK - through his persona and movies - has got a home in many hearts - in the past and in the more present time. Many may have lost their enthusiasm for him but still a kind of attachment had survived.

We know how much SRK was put into a negative light since 2015 somehow escalating into the wish that he gets destroyed by not going against him directly anymore but using his biggest weakness - his kids (one of them).

And negativity got a boom...

Well, every wave when reaching it's highest point has to go down and so did negativity since the 25th of January...

BUT only the immense affection for SRK wouldn't have generated such a craze, especially not in foreign countries. So there must be something else with this movie...and if one watches it with a positive approach or an open heart (heart!!!), one may get what this movie makes so successful other than having SRK as a lead after more than 4 years...(besides entertainment, of course).

And yes, there are loopholes in the Pathaan story...although...this is rather something typical for an over-the-top action movie.

In Drishyam there are loopholes too. There are toll nakas in Maharashtra and Goa so when Sam's car was dumped in the quarry, a toll employee would have noticed Vijay driving the car.

I didn't watch the Hindi version of D 2, only the Malayalam one, but watched D1 also in Hindi to see the acting.

I think, if one takes a painstaking look, one may always find loopholes relative to reality. For me, moviestories don't have to undergo the test of reality but I want them to have an inherent logic, fitting to the characters and the happenings.

Drishan's story (1+2 together) belong's to those I really like.

The same goes for the story in Pathaan (although I would have wished for a more informative backgroundstory for Rubai)...

One of my favourite scenes is when Shah Rukh is walking down the corridor and his face mirrors the sound of each shot ringing off camera. He is simply superb 😍 Yes, it’s an action movie, but he effortlessly captures our emotions for the ride as well ❤️

Agreed. Only BO collections matter. SRK tried to do more interesting movies and they failed (see Fan..). Now he made a typical fun OTT Action movie and its successful so he should stick with doing mass appeal movies instead of listening to dumb critics and do niche stuff

Ummm i would mind him to experiment but he must do such exclusive commerical movies to keep idiotic elements from saying he is finished. 😆

Thank you, I think they did a pretty sloppy job with DP character. I get why she joined ISI, but it's a pretty big thing if she became Ex-ISI , explanation is needed there. Furthermore, why as an Ex--ISI , she is helping John carry out ISI mission against India?

This movie had a lot of potential, wish they had worked on characters and story little more.
