Pathaan is on a rampage at the box office on Sunday as it breaks its own insane box office records which it set on Thursday (Republic Day). It is pure carnage at B and C centres be it single screens or multiplexes. The metros and some of the other bigger centres are likely to slow in evening and night shows so will not reach the numbers of Thursday but still are collecting in huge numbers and better than day one and Saturday.
The collections of the film could go upto 65 crore nett mark but a lot depends on the where the night shows come out but it is pretty much a 275 crore nett weekend in Hindi and there will be 8-9 crore nett from regional versions. The unthinkable has happened as 275 crore nett lifetime has been an unreachable target since War in 2019 for original content and even War you can say is pretty much done as its just a few crore less. Coincidently War was from the Studio / Director team.
The circuits collections will me mad as the film is a carnage mission from North to South and from East to West. There were places which did not start as huge as others on Wednesday but by Sunday all is equal and its a unanimous verdict. There were troublemakers (protestors for no valid reason) on day one which did not help things but the box office success and public running to cinemas in hordes pretty much clear that hold.
Now its about becoming the BIGGEST Hindi grosser in India and if all goes well than after almost 6 years the title of BIGGEST GROSSER will be back with an original HINDI film where it RIGHTFULLY belongs. This title in Overseas is certain but India there is still work to do but hopefully the next few days will ensure it will reach there.
