channel, writers, makers, actors all are doing brilliant job 👍🏼 execution is best so far, most of the scenes are visual treat like a movie scenes dialogues are awesome required some basic urdu knowledge for better understanding 😆
I like all characters, no one is pure negative all are behaving like a normal people
But on social media everyone bashing ML called him rapist
I am not going to pass any judgment on Katha for sleeping with a guy for money. it is OK she has her own reasons. My problem is more with the fact that all the blame is falling on the guy and the woman is refusing to take responsibility of her actions and decisions AND it is being justified because she was doing this to save her son. He made an offer and she accepted it. They are equal partners in this transaction. Why should she get a moral high ground? The feminist in me cringes when women want equal rights/authority but not equal responsibility.
Viaan is not a playboy like OG ML, he's totally anti women but attracted towards Katha unknowingly, for a ons we can't blame him because last time also he gives her choice "If you are not comfortable then you are free to backout I'm not forcing you" now after knowing the truth he is guilty for his misjudgements towards women and using this guilt as a weapon for changing himself as a better person this is called a character progression and I really like it❤️
@Bold: Okay, this is extreme. It was a two-way transaction.
Is she shirking responsibility or freeing herself from any guilt because she feels she had a valid reasoning to go forward with it? The clips I saw all indicate that he feels he was wrong in the situation, while she is of the opinion she did no wrong. In all honesty, she could have chosen to reveal she needs the money for her ill child and avoided this mess completely.
Viaan does not have to be playboy. But there are also many men whose unconscious bias and upbringing leads them to see women as being a certain way, and they do not realise they are crossing their line when they do. I still stick with my stance on the fact that as a dignified gentleman, he could have also chosen to get some papers signed and left the venue.
Both could have just handled the issue in a better manner. But then it would not make for this tale.
Thank you for the informed opinion post watch. I was basing my opinion on what was shared with me. But you cleared my doubts about the characterisation, and I am in a better place to make a decision.
