Upar se her behavior is so childish that I cannot take her cause seriously. It is bordering on unreasonable bratty ness. I am fully that she has full rights to keep him at bay given how she has been treated but I feel like they have made a caricature of her character.
Again writers have lifted the man against the woman and then the bg starts again and it reminds me I am not supposed to take it seriously.

I mean the bg music when begum Ma was doing her questioning with the two girls…I was like Daya iski bangles check karo! (Sorry for CID reference)

The show has too many loopholes. Meerab is behaving like a brat. If she is taking revenge because of the "slap" then I can understand her but I don't think that is the reason. I don't get her reasoning of behaving this way with Murtasim when the whole situation isn't even his fault. Infact, he is the only one who has supported her. I am okay with the contract and to destroy the reputation of the khandaan part but she can do that without being bratty towards Murtasim. It's the writers fault to show Meerab being rude and Murtasim being too nice to her. Your sympathy would go towards Murtu even though Meerab's life has just turned upside down. The sympathy which should be for Meerab isn't coming because of her dialogues and mean nature.

Coming to Murtu, The BG music, his actions and his words are not in sync. Why is Murtasim so soft towards Meerab ?? We need one monologue from him of what he thinks about Meerab's situation and his motivation to say 'yes' to this marriage. Then his angry BG music with his soft expression. That's totally confusing. The whole family is weird. Sometimes, I feel Murtu is calling the shots but then you see Maa Begum manipulating him to get married and him having no choice of his own..Kuch bhi horaha hai. Aur ye Ma Behum ka bhi koi khauf nahi hai......the way Haya was behaving during the whole Mehndi and marriage ceremony. If Ma begum or Murtasim was this powerful, which this show is trying to show them as, then how & why Haya is allowed to behave like this?? The only person who shows some sort of fear towards Ma Begum and Murtasim is Mariyam.

Murtasim doesn't even have control over his own room where Haya used to come and go, touch his things etc........then you play a villian BG for his scenes with those heavy dialogues. It doesn't make sense.

But......I am here for MeerAsim chemistry and YumHaj's acting. Logic ko bhul ke show dekhne ka....just like I watched Pathan today.....I found it entertaining movie with absolutely zero logic.

Half of the things Murtasim says and what he does, doesn't make sense to me. I mean his intro was " Yaha saza bhi mai deta hun aur maaf bhi mai karta hun" but he doesn't have control over his own life, let alone someone else's.

Wahaj was looking damn hot and cute today but no way Murtasim's character is that of some angry/attitude young type man. I can't even put him in nice and soft type man category. Murtasim's whole personality is so confusing to me......even Meerab is confusing for her behaviour towards Murtasim but her character is atleast clear & has genuine reason to behave like this towards her foster parents, her real Father and Maa Begum.

Murtasim's behaviour towards Meerab, Maa Begum and Haya.......saare hi confusing hai.

Haya is the only character which is straightforward and a bit well written ( by that I mean without any confusion till now). We know she is obsessed and mad. 😆😆

It seems like Meerab herself has no idea what she is doing or what she wants. She is being rebellious just for the sake of being rebellious. She wants murtasim to stay away from her and when he stayed away for the entire night she wants to know why he stayed away. Like why does she care where he was as long as he stays away from her .

Yes… I wish they would have had more flow with the story; it’s choppy and full of holes. And yet, I still take it allll innn anyways because they have such amazing chemistry. Loved the scenes today too!

What commitment is Meerab talking about in the promo that Murtasim might break? Marriage itself or no intimacy wala commitment?
