@ bold - spot on!! This is what I meant but these are characters that have been reduced to caricatures. Could have taken it half seriously maybe some years ago, but in these days of amazing shows all over, can’t take it seriously. Until then giggles and eye roll it is…and once in a while bask in the cuteness of the leads.

And I wonder what case/wajah Mariyam is talking about?

Not everyone may agree with me, but somewhere we are confusing very good looking leads with good chemistry. There is a difference, chemistry is something unknown where the screen crackles when they are together, sometimes you don’t even need dialogues. In a weird way chemistry is deeper, more intimate. This isn’t chemistry, this is just two very good looking people on screen together.

I am of course in minority when I say this, I accept that. But the screen doesn’t crackle for me!!! I do have a smile when I see them together because I do think they are very good looking and the production value adds to that. But the script is shoddy and doesn’t want me to root for them at all, neither individually nor together

hoestly no point trying to break down the promo. The actual episode kinda turns out meh..in the sense, no new information is given. We go round and round the same thing - but that’s OTT drama for you na.

Meerub is being a total brat. And it’s possibly to have her grow up & mature later in the show after Murtasim finally gets fed up with her bratty attitude or when she finds out about his past. Either way Murtasim will turn his back on her sooner or later, which Haya will use to her full advantage. So I guess a Murtasim/Haya marriage drama is also on the cards in the future (marriage won’t happen though). Obviously by that time, both Murtasim & Meerub will fall in love & pine after one another.

This show is clearly going in the direction where Murtasim will be shown as justified in all his actions & decisions (bcos of his sad past) while Meerub will be left to regret her little revenge game (bcos of her bratty attitude). While rest of the characters will be scheming & plotting to separate our leads.

Anyways the show is entertaining for now, at least to me it is. Baaki dekhte hain kab tak Rahega 😆

I agree. Just because it's enemies to lovers troop with tu tu main main couple doesn't mean they automatically have crackling chemistry. I gave this drama a try solely because I like the leads seperately. I agree that the leads look good together but thats solely because they both are good actors and not because they have sizzling hot chemistry.

I also feel Meerab don't suit yumna at all. She just don't give me the vibe. Even though she is petite and baby faced she don't give off a spoiled brat vibe.

YES YES on the liking the leads separately. But somehow I did like them in the ONS - esp the softer scenes - the one in the field and the one with the candle. All these faltu ka childish behavior samajh mei hi nahi aata.

Yumna as an actress tends to grow on you, she isn’t a fall in love in the first episode kind of actress unlike a Sajal. Her effort shows as the show starts to move and then you completely buy into her character

Meerab definitely is behaving like a spoiled brat and she is channeling her anger and frustration towards murtasim instead of the elders. It's like she subconsciously knows murtasim is gonna take all of her antiques and she also gets a reaction from him which she don't get from the elders. All of her planning and plotting for God knows what reason would have flopped then and there is murtasim simply said he won't sign the papers and threatened to kick her out of the house. But murtasim unconsciously agrees to all her whims and whines. It wasn't that hard for him to kick her out of his bed or lay on the other side of the bed but he simply just gives in to her stubborn demands. It's like he would rather sleep on the couch than hear her talk more 😆

But he is short tempered and he will soon run out of his patience. I highly doubt there will be any almost marriage between haya and murtasim. He hardly agreed to marry Meerab. He only dislike Meerab but he loaths haya😆

I first saw yumna in pyaar ke sadkey and i instantly liked her. Infact i have liked her in every drama i have seen of her. This is the first time i feel she don't suit the role. Her face don't have any sort of mean or bratty vibe.
