Great showing this year. Especially these two with much quieter campaigns. I didn't post for ATB because I knew the forum won't be interested, but I completely missed out on elephant whispers nominationšŸ˜†

I saw a 26 year old is nominated for best actor. I hope he wins just cause a record would be set

Paul Mescal right. He is an absolute sweetheart. Didn't see his movie that he's nominated for but I saw Normal people and LOVED it. He was bloody good in it.

All that breathes is mostly winning the Documentary Feature film category. It won at nearly every film festival and has had only positive reviews since it premiered at Sundance last year. That’ll be a historical win for India.

Oh it is winning, 99% certain about it. I’d love to watch it tho. It hasn’t had a release anywhere since it premiered. There are a few special screenings in Mumbai in a few days, that’s it. HBO should be premiering it soon on their platform.

3 nominations from India.

I am really rooting for All that Breathes. It is such an important subject and message. It deserves to be known and acknowledged. ā¤ We can't afford to lose our feathery friends anymore.

It will prolly be purchased and streamed somewhere else other than HBO too since it has come to limelight with the nomination. General audience are not tuned into Sundance or other film festivals.
