Which movie was this? I remember being in school and everyone would end arguments with "understand, you better understand." But I cannot remember the movie.
I think Laadla. BW's version of Taming of the Shrew.

Ugh. Just read the plot of Laadla. Man, 90's Bollywood was a wild trip.
From this scene it doesn't look like the title of the movie is laadla
Understand you better understand reminds me of Gopi bahu ki beti😆

Raveena and Sridevi were equally magnificent. Sad I have no hopes from her daughter. This generation of bollywood blood is all just very very ve! ry bland. With the exception of Aloo who was some what talented that is it
Saw Raveena and her daughter in BKC (an area in Mumbai) a few days ago. Raveena is absolutely stunning even now. Simply gorgeous. The daughter is pretty but not a patch on her mum.
It could be Laadla with the character shown by Sridevi.
RTH, I also looked up the plot...and then went to the original Kannada movie. I like to get information this way by going from A to B to C...it's like a travel through Indian cinema...
Didn't know yet how famous the original had become (story based on a Kannada novel) and I may try to find it for a watch because of Rajkumar (being part of list of best Indian actors and whom I watched in a very good Kannada movie).

Duniya mein koi mard nahi hota... Now we know why SP is obssesed with marrying commited men to 18 year olds🤣someone watched this movie and this dialogue is their life mantra, but IRL implementation is risky so shows mein chalate hai🤪
Wait…,who is SP tho?
