@bold- I also think he has already figured out the truth about Amba thats why might have agreed. Because after he broke his engagement he has been very firm that he doesn't want Amba in his life. Didn't fall for even Satya's emotional blackmail. The guy has been so stubborn about marrying Vidhi, so it would be weird if he agrees to Vidhi's words.

Or when Vidhi mentioned marrying Amba, the whole jigsaw puzzle fell in place for him. he was already thinking ki har cheez mein Amba involved hai so when Vidhi says this uske dimag ki batti jali hogi. So he may have started digging out the truth and when he knew might have gone to Amba with the proposal to expose her once and for all.
