my guess to why he feels guilty is that what happened goes against his own moral fibre. now even on this forum, people will have different ideas on whether it is moral or immoral to have one night stand. for some, it isn't a big deal while for others it is. based on what ehsaan said, viaan isn't the type to go for one night stand or casual relationships. so that may be another reason he feels enormous amount of guilt. in contrast, katha refuses to feel any guilt because she owns her decision to save her son.

I find it hard to understand this because I have a very simple rule. Whenever I make a decision, good or bad, I assume the responsibility of that decision. I don't like regrets of any kind. So I enjoy my mistakes too🤣

Your point makes sense but then I will go round the circle again🤣Why did he go through with it? He wanted to test her and she failed according to him. But why did he fail?

Viaan as a character is so different from other ML we are watching everywhere.He is feeling guilty because he thinks he himself has fallen down .He wanted this way or that way .Anyways he is basically a good man because he has a conscious & feeling guilty.He understood that there was a very pressing reason why Katha took that deal & this is where he is feeling guilty that he misjudged her & tested her without asking her that time. We see so many people out there in real life who are continuously abusing females because the women have no choice.
