The amount of times Amitabh Bachchan writes on his blog, one would assume he must have a lot of free time. To assume that would be wrong, as Amitabh is making time to blog… because he has been paid a staggering Rs. 115 crore (14m - $27m US).

Now if someone is being paid close to what actors like Tom Cruise and Russell Crowe earn for a single movie, then that someone would indeed try and generate controversy through the blog… so to give the blog owners value for their money. And because of this, Amitabh has targeted fellow colleagues Shah Rukh Khan and Shatrughan Sinha through his write-ups.

Amitabh's blog is owned by Bigadda, which is itself owned by the Ambani group. It has also been rumoured that the Ambani group are hoping to create a major presence on the Internet, and are using Amitabh Bachchan's blog as a platform to much bigger things.
