Varun has surged ahead of Ranveer in the last year.

Is he a more bakable star than Ranveer?

Ranveer's huge successes are all bcoz of SLB/Deepu?

Before Varun was a hit machine but after kalank and coolie he has become less bankable. RS has experimented more and I doubt varun can do historical roles. Bhediya only recently recovered its 60cr cost.

Ranveer's huge successes are all bcoz of SLB/Deepu? No he has had other successes with Zoya or Rohit (Simmba). JJ and Cirkus were bad scripts. I couldn't even sit through the trailer even though I like RS

Bhediya has a budget of 124 crore and its a FLOP... You can check boxofficeinida .. The 60 crore number started floating after the disaster weekend ,so that they can save face

I think that both are decent actors and if the producers focus on good scripts, good directors and good editing both can carry a movie on their shoulders...

The audience's reaction not always depends on the quality of their work.

Varun's last film was entertaining and he delivered a good performance.

Ranveer's 83 performance was excellent. It clearly wasn't his fault that the movie underperformed at the BOI.

Yes. Varun has been extremely consistent. He is running out of gas now, but he is still more reliable than any of his peers.

Varun is anywhere from average to fairly decent. No way can he compete with some of the better actors. It is not just about hits. You need versatility.

Well, Varun has already shown "versatility", Grumpy...and Ranveer, too.

This might be an unpopular take… but here goes. I genuinely believe Ranveer Singh is more versatile, but Ranbir Kapoor is the better actor. And...
