Anupamaa 16 Sep 2026 Written Update and Daily Discussions Thread

The episode begins with Anupama and Ansh proceeding to court for filing case against fraud builder and Pranshi custody case hearing respectively.

They both seek blessings from the lord and from Babuji . Kinjal feeds them dahi shakkar . Baa is disinterested , she is not keen to have Pranshi brought to Shah house against the wishes of Kotharis , and also against Anupama having separate space for herself outside Shah house .

At Kothari mansion Prem and Rahi have argument with Moti baa over keeping Gautam in Kothari mansion. He is behind everything wrong that happened to Anupama / shahs . Prem and Rahi enumerate all those instances … Moti baa refuses to say anything against Gautam.

Anupama confronts Gautam for feeding her substances with the intend of harming her during the cooking competition. Anupama threatens to put Gautam and Toshu behind the bars .
Ansh and Anupama return from court and happily announce that Ansh had won the custody of Pranshi . The Shah family erupts with joy ..only Baa, Toshu and Pakhi remain skeptical . Soon all the celebration comes to a full stop as Moti baa and Gautam arrive at shah house . Moti baa refuses to give up custody of Pranshi , Gautam seconds her . All shh family members enumerate the failures of Gautam as a parent and how he was a criminal about to go behind the bars . Gautam is stunned .

Every time they have tried to make Vasundhara villain, it has only backfired. She's the only one with some sort of sense in this show. This is a repeat of Rakhi Dave all over again. UpMaaa accusing Vasundhara of supporting Gautam, while she made it clear that she does not think Gautam is a good father. He's just a means to keep her great-granddaughter near them. Vasundhara does not want to win the custody so that Gautam can be Pranshi's father. She wants it so that her great-granddaughter can live with them and they can love her and keep her happy. Unlike UpMaaa and Ansh, who are on an ego trip against Gautam. They don't want Pranshi's happiness, they just want to defeat Gautam. That's the difference between the two parties.

Literal meaning she really only talks ( lecture others🙄) and instead of walk she only runs like a teenager 🤨😂😂😂

So Crinjal couldn't care less about her own mother's coaching centre, but she has started one in UpMaaa's name. No wonder this woman is stuck with Doshu and TamaShahs.

Once upon a time, Crinju's character was actually likeable. She looked like an educated girl with a bright future ahead of her. She had a mother like Rakhi Dave, who would have picked the best husband for her. But the moment she married Doshu, her life was ruined. Frankly, it was her own fault for hurting her mother. The exact moment Doshu cheated on her, she got the exact punishment she deserved.

Let's look at the facts. She had a very rich mother to support her. Crinju also had a steady job. She easily could have raised Pari by herself as a single parent. Sure, Rakhi Dave was busy with her business and did not give her much emotional support. However, I praise Rakhi for making a huge sacrifice by staying in a bad marriage just for her daughter. Meanwhile, the whole TamaShah family-including Badi Upmaa-happily stripped away every single bit of dignity from Rakhi Dave's daughter. What great life choices!

Only the Kotharis can give Pranshi a proper and normal life. Sure, Gautam might be a terrible father and an awful person. But at least he ran the Kothari diamond business and actually knew how to handle clients! On the other hand, Phaltu Prem and Choti Upmaa have what it takes to support Pranshi with both money and love. Meanwhile, Anss and Prerna are totally hopeless. They do not even have real jobs, unless you count working at that third-rate cafe called "Love U Zindagi."

Also, Badi Upmaa acting sad about her past with Trashnuj is just pure fake drama. Back when Badi Upmaa was actually Trashnuj's wife, she did not care about him at all. She was too busy worshipping #JhulMukh (Jhuli Mawali and Dhongi Dukhmukh) like they were gods. She completely ignored Trashnuj and Choti Upmaa, while Kanta and Bhavess did not even exist to her. What a joke!
