Not to contradict you my friend, but my perspective onlyš
If I were in a position where I was judged, accused and wronged ( I am using this term for the kaand ) and I am so angry or care two hoots for the person who is responsible, I would share NOTHING with that person. Na good, na bad nor ugly that is happening in my life. I don't want to do anything with that personš” I think this is what Katha is doing. She cares a rat's behind about Viaanšš¼ at the moment. She had buried the kaand very deeply in her conscious brain, probably as a protective mechanism. She won't offer any explanations nor is she obligated to, to Viaan.
I don't understand the company policy of being single etc. That is cinematic, which we won't be given an explanation for. So, why she is putting herself in a position of being pulled apart in all directions by her work, her deadlines and caring for a sick child, I don't think she has much of a choice in that aspect. Even if she comes clean with the company, I don't see that circumstance will change for her, since she is shown to have a compulsive work ethic. Unfortunately, this is the state of affairs for a lot of working moms, may be not so dramaticš They will probably be more lenient with her time ( miss that dinner or this trip may be). But, if the stakes are high and the client they are serving wants to meet with the project head, she will have no choice, right?
Deciding whether your child is sick enough for you to take time off OR doing the work you are committed to is an age-old, unending dilemma for all of us. Whatever decision you make, you end up with guiltš²That is the story of our livesš³
My opinion only, you can throw out the window if you don't like it. I won't take it personallyš
