I am already thinking about the number of twists that this movie is going to have. Finally a really really good Indian movie.
A welcome movie, Oak might have picked up the correct person for the biopic.
Panshikar was a big name and a quite successful one too, in Marathi theatre. To Mee Navhech written by Prahlad Keshav Atre was quite a milestone play in Indian theatre and Lakhoba Lokhande took theatre world by storm, so much so that the phrase "To me Navhech " entered the popular culture. If I am not wrong Ruskin Bond's Sussana's Seven Husbands might have found it's "inspiration" in Atre's To Mi Navhech.
@NerdyMukta There are many people who would like to see Panshikar's biopic but it being successful depends on the film
I think Marathi theatre has many personalities that deserve a biopic, Marathi theatre itself is an unexplored territory in Marathi Cinema.
Another person who really deserves a biopic is Atre, but I doubt anybody would be brave enough to actually make a true biopic on him.
Atre was a true giant. Apart from being an exceptional playwright, script writer, novelist and poet who wrote milestone plays like Lagnachi Bedi, Moruchi Mavshi, To mi Navhech, he was also a film maker who directed Shyamchi Aai, founder-editor of a successful newspaper, an orator and a very focal figure in Samyukta Maharashtra Andolan. He should have had a biopic even before Pu La but as I said I doubt if he will ever have one.
Fully agreed with Biopic on P.K. Atre. I think Manjrekar chya dokyat hi idea bharvayla pahije 😆. Nahitar ugachch kunachya jivanavar biopic banavat bastat. Nilu Phule - i don't know whether it is worth to make biopic on him, however great actor he was. Either it will end up in a documentary or it will have imaginary script for the sake of creating drama. Sachin - a billion dreams was more of a documentary and dhoni's biopic is being churned out regularly on TV, to add to that they are creating another real life story on Dhoni ie Mr. and Mrs. Mahi. Biopic on Azhar was miserable and also shabash mithu. Same for biopic on Saina Nehwal. Mary com biopic had imaginary stuff in Bhansali style just like azhar. There is Saurabh Ganguly biopic also on the way.Originally posted by: surajhere

Top order batsmen आज काहीच नाही खेळले.
सुर्या आणि axar तरी बिचारे दोघेच खेळून तरी किती खेळणार??
तरी बऱ्यापैकी खेचून आणली होती match या दोघांनी👍
fully agreed. Though i didn't watch it - from the scorecard it seems their Captain Dasun Shanaka truely deserved MoM but Axar's 2/24 bowling spell and then scoring 65 of 31 balls was also a great effort.Originally posted by: iluvusakshi

On yesterday's pitch at Pune team batting first have won 9 times out of 10 ... Hardik won the toss and despite that he choose to bat second .
In a way good because as a Captain he wants to put the team through tough situations in bilateral series ....In ICC tournaments Not always does the Captain win tosses ....
At times as a team one should learn to win in all types of situations
