The point is they showed domestic violence as a reality that happens. They were not trying to glorify it. Truth be told most people who take part in domestic violence are mentally challenged and would be more prone to suicide. Kabir Singh displays so much problematic behavior but ends up with a happy ending. That is glorification. He is made to be sympathized with. Nana Patekar's character never was.

My first reaction looking at the poster :
The title is "Animal".. Is it cuz he kills animals with that axe? or Is it cuz he himself is an animal who kills humans with that axe ?

My Second reaction:
The poster reminded me of the poster of VijayaD's movie "World famous lover".

My Third reaction:
The poster also reminded me of SS. Rajamouli's "Simhadri" movie poster where NTR is seen with a weapon:

Simhadri was a SS. Rajamouli movie. It had bit of killing/violence but hero kills those people who harassed women. It felt too melodramatic for my taste( I thought it will become utter flop when I watched it in theatre but it became huuge block buster hit breaking soo many records I still don't know how it became hit )

Not sure what will Vanga reddy show in Animal.
