Like Raveena Tandon was also overlooked in KGF2 šŸ‘šŸ¼

Raveena was extremely impactful and show stealer in KGF 2, let's not even compare her screen presence and the way she delivered with the likes of Alia. That'd be an insult don't you think. 😳

But then even in Brahmastra, Mount Roy far far outshined Alia in every single department, looks, grace, screen presence, acting , every where.

Alia is the most overrated and overhyped actor (all genders combined) in history of Indian cinema.

Hardly as good as she is made out to be and is way too overexposed and shoved down throats of audience

There has to be a low before it can get better - that is my feeling.

We all know that the use of streaming service during the pandemic/lockdowns is one of the reasons that people don't flock to the theatres ...going to the movies has become something that isn't for the masses anymore in the same way it was many years ago...now it needs more efforts.

Watching TV is easier...and I guess, there is also an over-saturation of visuel content.

Even films of today are not having repeat value like those of past. I was watching Sholay today. I just could not change channel when certain scenes like tank scene, Thakur's hands chipped by Gabbar etc came up. Like guilty pleasure, you watch it. You are used to it.

Today's films lack such addictive quality and iconic scenes or one liners or actors.

Absolutely no stars like Amitabh or Dharam or Hema to hold attention nor character actors like Amjad Khan, Amrish or Sanjeev Kumar etc.

Today's actors except maybe few, are forgettable and passable.

So true! We don’t have solid character actors, for this generation. I think of shakti Kapoor in Andaaz Apna Apna…this gen of actors in BW are too damn scared, and they think it’s beneath them to excel in particular roles.
the lack of talent specifically with women ( I mean we have the likes of Jhanvi, Ananya…) explains why Ash can do a ponniyn selvan, Madhuri is still excelling in the OTT space and Kareena is still a top actress. Imagine someone telling you 10 years ago, 2022 would belong to Tabu in her 50s delivering a Bhool Bulaiya and a Drishyam 2??? Absolutely crazy! These ladies and other 90s stars are still ruling the BO.

Your signature- is this from a show? (Seems like fantasy genre). I am looking for some good fantasy genre shows or movies.
