I don't want to see children because they will probably show really petty things for them. Their penchant to take things to extremes also means it can become very uncomfortable to watch. I don't want to see kids being mistreated or facing blatant favouritism. Not to mention some parents might be shown having less rights on their own offspring than other family members.

If they go down that route, they might show the child acting like him and Shiva trying to find out who Raavi's husband is. He might then become uncontrollably attracted to her, will try to fight it at first but then start getting jealous of the father of her child. Of course alongside he will develop a close bond with the kid too, who also may not know Shiva is his father. Isn't this what happens on most shows?

They could show this happening in the background at a very slow pace alongside other drama that is the main focus. But I doubt it is 'innovative' and 'creative' enough for the writers of this show. They really are more likely to come up with something never seen before (and for good reason).
