Native English speaker here. Nothing wrong with her words though using 'wants' for Shalin is slightly wrong but many use it that way so it's subjective.

I find her word choices formal because we all use contractions and it does sound odd but I think she thinks it makes her sound posh..no it doesn't, just a bit odd.

I've also noticed Hindi English is sometimes different from UK English but guessing it arose from differences in countries...just like American English is different from us.

Why is it such a big deal?

Almost all bollywood celebs have problems speaking fluently in hindi par no one looks down on them

Agar hindi mein galati kare toh uska mazzark ban na jayaz hai kyoki indians se achchi hindi bolna expected hota hai especially from those who work in hindi movies and serials..

Par English mein choti si choti galati par har waqt logo ka mazaak banana ke piche ka maqsad samaz nahi aata..unless someone wants to show off their own English skills😆

It could be a slang version of saying things...I'm.not to sure but I have certainly heard I am hurting in conversations.

Sometimes when people speak English they don't follow all the rules but it still makes sense. I don't know if I'm making sense now haha. Anyway there are certain phrases that people can say in English that don't have to be grammatically correct but can still be spoken. Kind of like an urban dictionary thing.
