I haven’t watched the show yet but just wondering if it’s good ..as in difft than all this saas bahu shit like anupamaa etc? I’ve avoided reading the show threads so I don’t stumble upon spoilers

What is the general plot of the show / synopsis?

No spoilers pls. Just wanting to know what you like about it & if it’s worth a watch

I really like past few Sony shows like Patiala Babes, Dhadhkan , & Anokhi Dosti

they were so difft & relatable in some ways

problem is many of these shows start great but then writers ruin them halfway through

It's a fabulous show. Give it a try. I am sure you will not regret later. It's not at all a saas bahu show.

It's an adaptation of a Turkish show. Thank God makers have not changed a bit from the OG. Story is little controversial though. But it's high time we should move on from saas bahu types to Katha Ankahi.

Good to see dhadkan fan here and yes if you liked that show , this show won't disappoint you as of now loving it .

It's based on 1001 nights Turkish drama adaptation of Arabian nights.

Show's synopsis is basically, a mother katha who works tirelessly for her son (won't say the reason) and needs money and for the same she is stucked with a condition of her boss and story follows further.

Frankly technically the show is excellent - writing, production, and the actors. Writing I understand is a direct adaptation and hence the creative idea Sony or PH cannot take credit for. But the production of the show and the actors are doing a phenomenal job.

Plot wise there are way too many holes, but the characterization and underlying storyline makes for interesting discussion no doubt,

Happy watching!

Really enjoying it thus far, hoping it stays just as good and doesn’t become like other shows that go downhill due to trap chasing, You should definitely tune in,

Sorry for replying very late but just wanted to say that I’m absolutely loving the show.

I’m sick of mil and dil shows this is so different and the actors including the support are fantastic.

At the moment definitely worth investing in.

I also avoid saas-bahu shows & mostly watch Sony fare like Mere Dad ki Dulhan, Patiala Babes (until it derailed), Ishk par zor nahi (that Sony rudely pulled the plug on).

Really like this show & the bold concept defying the hypocritical “morality” of other channel shows. Plus prodn values & casting are v good. Office looks like office, women wear work clothes to work, people dont go to bed with jewellery & ghunghat. And the newness is in normality, not in OTT dressing like in the shergill show.

Silvermoonlight, I hv seen u on some other forums before & feel this is your kind of show 🙂

I have watched and liked the shows you mentioned. Two days ago I started watching this show and liking it. 😊 I look forward to Sony shows as they are finite.
