Part four

He panicked seeing his wife in an unconscious state.

Don't tell me she took poison to kill herself. She was not happy with the marriage.

He parked the car at the roadside and rested her back towards her seat. Her checked her pulse and sighed

Thank God, she 's alive.

He drove to the nearest hospital. A reporter happened to see him lifting her in his arms requesting the doctor to check on her explaining she fell unconscious in the car

The guy clicked their pictures and in mere seconds they were viral on the social media.

Advait Kapoor welcoming a baby soon!

News of Nehmat 's sudden pregnancy shook everyone.

Media asked questions

Marriage only took place three days ago. How come kapoor khandan daughter in law is pregnant that fast?Was it another person's kid? Was that why the marriage took place?

Too many speculations .

Mr. Shamsher 's angry voice over the phone.

" Kamine, tujhey press conference ke liye bheja tha, tu hospital pahunchgeya bache ka baap benkar".

( Ras***, i sent u to attend a press conference, u landed in the hospital instead becoming a father).

Arrrgggg! He threw his phone on the floor.

This was the last thing he ever wanted.

Jasmin Sandhu fell from her bed while enjoying a delicious breakfast upon hearing the news of becoming a grandmother.

It was unbearable!

Sandhus were in a dilemma. Did Ekam and Nehvait consummate before she got married to Advait? They were so much in love.

Kapoor's felt the same. She is carrying Ekam's kid! We are ruined now. Our image is gone.

Ekam Randhawa was confused. There was a party i attended with nehmat before my father's death and we were high on alcohol. Did something happened that night? Is that my kid?.

The delighted Ekam left the station right away to the hospital to find out the details.

At the hospital

He moved to and fro outside the room where his wife was admitted, deep in thoughts. It was really frustrating. The news of pregnancy all over Moga within minutes. He was receiving numerous calls congratulating him upon becoming a dad

Media was already present outside the hospital ready to ambush him with tons of questions

Finally, the wait was over. The doctor announced that her glucose levels were too low due to not eating properly. So that explained the fainting in the car.

She was fine and could be discharged rite away

God! I should have allowed her to have breakfast at least. She didn't eat anything last night.

He repented at his foolishness and ego battle of torturing her literally jeopardizing his political career

He knew then that he had to be careful. Perhaps his father was right. He needed to tone down a little.

One mistake and his political future would be on stake

I binge read all the four parts and I loved all the four of them. You have written down all the actions taking place so well.

Part-1

My favorite part was Advait egoistically going to sleep in the balcony and at the same time his ego wanting his wife to stop him. That was cute and funny.

Part-2

In second part the cockroach scene was really really awesome. I laughed heartily reading that part.

Part-3

Honestly, I hated Advait even here in this third part like in the show. He was acting very egoistically. Felt that Nehmat really needed to give a tight punch onto his face.

Nehmat can surely do that because after all she is a boxer's daughter.

Part-4

This part was my favorite. I really loved the fake pregnancy drama and it served the asshole Advait right. He really needed to get that.

Loved the way he felt helpless with the fake news and finally acknowledged that he had been always wrong of torturing Nehmat.

But what about Ekam?😆

Wasn't he delighted that he's going to become a father.

Part two

He waited impatiently few seconds more as she didn't reply and he was hell confused.

As he turned to look into her direction, she was nowhere insight.

What the hell??? His furious mind cursed her like anything

Seriously, she made me stand like a fool.

Or maybe she went to call mum to console me not to sleep in the balcony.

He sat on the bed , restless as the minutes passed. The dark corridor indicated all lights were switched off and everyone were already in bed. It was past midnight.

Past midnight!

Oh sh**. Don't tell me she is possessed by Malika 's ghost. Maybe the latter committed suicide after running away and took over her best friend 's body for revenge.

A cold chill ran down his spine when he heard slow footsteps towards his bedroom in the dark.

Instantly, he stood up at once and rushed forward to shut the door of the bedroom to avoid Malika's ghost from tormenting him but was too shocked to speak and stood like a statue when he saw Nehmat running into the room with a broom, helding it high above her head as though she led the Indian army at the border against wicked enemy trying to sneak into the neighborhood.

He wild eyes searched for an explanation.

Is this woman for real !

She ran towards the balcony without any single word and left him puzzled from head to toe.

What's going on???

He walked slowly towards her direction and was amused to see her chasing a cockroach towards the drain pipe

Oh my God!

So it was a cockroach at the balcony!.

He sighed a relief and taunted himself for being a foolish and a coward.

Why didn't she just kill it??? Why was she so kind to that tiny creature??

He got the answer finally when she turned towards him to walk back into the room still clutching the broom in her right hand.

Silently, he took few steps behind, still cautious about her actions. She had a broom in her hand.

She could ambush anytime. He had to becareful.

" Vo cockroach ko bhegadiya. Ab ap aram sey so jao". ( I chased away the cockroach. U can sleep peacefully now)

She left the broom at the corner of the coach and fell asleep.

He stood still at the balcony watching her closely.

He needed to make sure she was not possessed.

Minutes later,

He decided to lock the glass door of the balcony just as a safety precaution. Who knows she may ambush me in the sleep.The broom is still in the room She might just kill me and return to her lover.

Lover!

Damn ! Malika, how nice it was if u didn't take off.

I got a cold woman in your place now. Who doesn't give a hoot about me. She just doesn't care . She allowed me to sleep in the balcony. She knew i was upset.

There it was.

His hurt ego!

He was ditched in the alter. Then humiliated by his own father. And now hitched to a woman who pined for another man The marriage took a toll on his emotions and self respect.

It crushed him in the inside. He felt suffocated in the cool breeze of the dark night. He had to let go off the frustrations and he knew what he had to do the very next morning.

As soon as Ekam reached the hospital, advait had already taken his ill wife through the back exit to avoid the media that still lingered at the entrance for answers to latest development concerning him and his family.

Minutes later after sneaking through a window of the ground floor.

Damn! The pissed Ekam upon finding out that Nehmat actuality was not pregnant. Nothing happened that night But he decided to use that opportunity to create hurdles in Advait Nehmat 's marriage life and also tarnish the latter's image.

An hour later,

Ekam walked out of the hospital and spoke proudly in front of the adamant reporters who refused to leave the premises despite given warning by the security guards.

" Advait ney yahan hospital mein apne bache ka abortion karvaya hain. Political figure hoke phirbi galat kaam kiya hain. Is this a good example for the public ?"

( Advait aborted his own child. Being a political figure, he performed a misdeed)

The reporters enquired for a proof and Ekam showed an abortion report written by the doctor who examined Nehmat.

Two hours later,

News travelled across country and advait was taken into custody after an arrest warrant was issued. Abortion is illegal.

The ill Nehmat who was fast asleep didn't have any idea what happened right after she fainted in the car that morning.

At the station

Ekam smirked as he sat at his desk, sipping a cup of tea recalling the incident at the hospital. How he managed to produce the fake report.

When he met Nehmat 's doctor, he was taken by surprise. The guy was his ex school mate, his buddy, Dr. Sumeet Jaiswal . Ekam naratted his past history and Sumeet felt sorry for him. Then the latter agreed to help the former to plot against Advait. The false report was made.

In the cell

The politician vented out his frustrations by punching his fist numerous times against the hard cold wall of the prison cursing the day he married Nehmat.

All this happened coz of her. He knew Ekam did it for her. Maybe they plotted together.

Shamsher tried to bail his son but it was rejected. A politician involved in an illegal deed was not accepted.

The political party withdrew Advait's participation from the upcoming elections and Kapoor's reputation was on stake .

Meanwhile, Jasmin took the opportunity to kidnap Nehmat and kill her for good. Now that her husband was in the prison and she was all alone rotting in his bedroom, it would be easier to execute the evil deed.

The next morning.at 9 am

She woke out of a sudden from a nightmare that involved her husband. Advait in a jungle surrounded by wild boars. He was in danger. He called out for help but she stood still watching him , helpless.

She searched for her husband and later found out from the maid that he was taken into custody. Nehmat came to know about the allegations. Mrs. Shamsher and her sister in law were harsh with her with all sorts of accusations but she paid less attention. She was sure nothing happened between her and her ex. She was never pregnant.

And she was definitely determined to release her husband

Part six

In the cell

He woke up half asleep from the long wooden bench when a hawaldar on duty alarmed him

" Apki wife milne ayi hain".

( Ur wife came to see u).

He was ready with all sorts of accusations. I will finish u and ur ex for plotting against me. Just u wait

The enraged lion prepared with his claws but went into a silent mode the moment his upset blue eyes were set on the food carrier she held in her right hand.

It exposed a wonderful aroma of secret delicacies and his hungry stomach warned

U better be quiet!

Otherwise u will get only dry capathis and watery lentil dal here. Don't expect five star hotel food.

He starved since the previous day. His father busy lectured him on his Idiocracy of spoiling his own reputation and his mother just kept crying and wining. No one understood the plight of the poor tummy.

The hawardal allowed Nehmat to provide the meal to the distraught husband after she bribed the former with three motichoor ladoos. Ekam strictly restricted no outside food for the politician. Let him starve.

Nehmat entered the premises only after her ex left hurriedly to solve a robbery case. She sneaked around the place a while, waiting for him to take a leave so she could meet her husband. She was pretty sure Ekam was behind the arrest. She needed to find out the solution.

As she sat right opposite of him on the long bench removing the lid of the food carrier to provide him the meal, he controlled his frustrations.

If it wasn't for the food, he would have strangled her there and then.

" Khana kahan se layi ho".

( Where did u bring the food from )

He enquired still eyeing her closely, couldn't believe that she actually brought lunch for him

She replied casually not looking at him .

"Benaker layi hun"

( I prepared)

The aroma punished his nostrils so badly that as soon as she offered to feed him, he didn't object and was ready to swallow the food as she placed the small bites of capati with veges into his hungry mouth.

Part of him instigated to bite her fingers as she placed the second bite but the other part kept warning him to not lose his cool. Food is essential for u to live. So just control buddy.

She fed the lion silently who held back his claws a while as his stomach was being filled with wonderful dishes.

As she finished feeding him, she offered a bottle of orange juice and he snatched it from her rudely, drinking it in one go

Nehmat remained silent. Her mind occupied with the ways to deal with the matter and less on his tantrums . She was somehow getting used to it

As she closed the lids of the stainless steel containers, he enquired sarcastically.

" Mithha nehin layi".

( U didn't bring sweet?)

She smiled weakly ignoring his hard stare

"Teen motichoor ke ladoo hawaldar ko khiladiye taki apko khana de sekun"

( I gave the guard three ladoos so i could feed u).

Ouch!! That was too direct. A straight sweet blow.

Silence.

As she walked out of the door for the guard to lock it again, he smirked.

"Agli baar mitha bhi lana".

( Next time bring sweet as well).

She stopped and then turned to look at him with a wide smile this time

"Agli baar ap ghar mein ake khana".

( Next time u come home and eat)

That was a puzzling statement.

He wondered

What did she mean??

After she stepped out of the station, the annoyed wife signed to her husband's Idiocracy.

How nice it was if my dream came true

He should be stranded in a jungle surrounded by wildboars!
