Missed today! How was PD?

Navdeep-Technically good again but I feel his performances are becoming monotonous. Whether it is a peppy song or a slow song, he arranges every song the same way. My theory is the judges are pushing him to be in the finale because of his last name being Wadali. Again I am glad he is getting recognition as he is from Amritsar but his singing is very average and emotionless. He should sing more Punjabi songs. I actually like the way he sings Punjabi songs the few times I have heard him, particularly his car winning performance.

Deboshmita-Another good Deboshmita performance. I am glad she is starting to get some recognition from the judges as I feel she is the best female singer in the competition.

Shivam-Wa Wa Wa. That was incredible. It almost sounded like the original singer was singing. If anyone can beat Rishi for the title, it is Papa Shivam.

Bidipta-For me personally the evening belonged to Bidipta. The way she sung both songs, one required feeling and another requiring spunk was commendable. I used to think of her as someone who would coast by on looks alone but she has proved she is also a very good singer and has had tremendous growth these last few weeks

Rishi-Rishi was brilliant but I wish he also sang a Jeetendra song as I feel it isn't fair to the other contestants that he gets Pawandeep to play piano and then endorsement from celebrities. It is almost screaming to us that the show wants him to win. Regardless his performance was still brilliant and truly a concert level performance.

Shivam and Senjuti-Good

Vinit-A decent performance from Vinit. His singing is starting to become routine to the point where he know what to expect from him. He needs to push his boundaries and explore more complicated singing in my opinion.

Rishi, Shivam & Bidipta were the best today imo. TBH I didn't expect Bidipta to sing both songs so beautifully. She was awesome today.

Shivam is super consistent. Don't know why him and Sonakshi are not getting more support from Social Media.

Loved the Shayad rendition by Rishi. The song is already so popular then the performances of Pawandeep & Faiz are still fresh in our minds hence it becomes even more difficult to create magic and Rishi did it and the best thing was that he added his own things to the song. It was great great to see Pawandeep on the Indian Idol stage. Hoping to see Arunita and others from season 12 soon.

Vineet & Debosmita are singing well but no wow performances lately. Deboshmita will have to work on the pronunciation of some words too.

I think Kavita Ji can be a very good option for the third judge if Neha is quitting. She is such a legendary singer and her personality is very likeable too. She is not too serious or boring.

Yup she would be the good to have that seat or they can have all male judges like last season of Saregamapa if then I would personally love to have Sonu Nigam or Shaan but not Javed used to like him but seeing his overacting in SS2 nope.

Thanks to the FIFA World Cup, I don’t get to watch Indian Idol. next week the husbands traveling so I’ll get to watch it!!

I just watched the last 2-3 performances on Sunday.

I saw the Rishi - Pawandeep performance and didn’t enjoy it.
Vineet is always good, but like someone’s already said he needs to push the boundaries now. It’s like he always sticks to the same tried and tested genres.

Chirag - Kavya - Kavya was surprisingly good and Chirag was just ok. He really needs to open his mouth a bit more. By the way, was it necessary to shave off the poor chaps beard on national television??

Debosmita - Vineet (I think she sang with Vineet, maybe I’ve forgotten) - Debosmita is getting better and more confident by the day. Really enjoyed her performance.

Same opinion about Rishi's performance..after listening to Pawan's and Faiz's version ..this one didn't strike a chord.

The one consistent performer this season has been Bidipta..and off late its Shivam.. edited to add Debosmita

Didn't they air this in episode read review of sunday episodes so thought to watch performance from Sony Instragram but I could only see Shivam one performance.
