The problem with this season

BB has got people with pre-existing fan base. Shiv, Stan, Priyankit, Sumbul, Abdu have good online presence. The rest of the players are getting screen time, but are not liked by general audience. Now, Sumbul, Stan, Ankit are not that active, but can't be removed because people would stop watching the show. Tina Datta-Shalin are being shoved upon us, but quite frankly no one likes them. Archana has lots of screentime but no one is gonna vote for her. This season is not about screentime or fights. Stan, Abdu, Ankit, Sumbul are still gonna be there because of the massive fandom they have. This in a a way f**ks up the whole essence of BB. BB was essentially meant for career revival of people with controversies. The only contestant to ever go on BB at her peak was Hina Khan. But this time, we have 18/19/23 year olds who are at peak of their careers with a fan base way bigger than the older contestants. Also, the casting is such a misfit. We have three introverts (Stan, Sumbul, Ankit) with older celebs (Shalin, Tina, Nimrit, Priyanka, Shiv) and only one masala contestant (Archana) and one international celeb (Abdu). TRP is high because of the fanbase & not because of the content they are providing. There's no solid personality this season and quite frankly everyone is boring asf. None of the contestant is a BB material. Remove Stan, Sumbul, Ankit, Abdu & channel won't get numbers.

I mean this in the most respectful way.....does Stan have actual fans...like real ones?

Only platform that i have seen is on twitter. And his fans are really mean. The only way hes going to go home is if only him Priyanka and Shiv are nominated because according to polls from this week, Priyanka got the highest, then shiv (both priyanka and him were literally neck in neck) and then stan.

Priyanka with pre existing fan base was made to quiet down. Abdu's screentime was abruptly cut. So, I agree that pre existing fanbase contestants can't be removed and aren't much content generators (Except for Sumbul, I feel rest are image conscious. Sumbul is non confrontational). BB confuses me for when pre existing fanbase contestants are giving content like Priyanka and Abdu.

IMO, too much forced group play (Mandli join+ Priyanka didn't want to team with Archana earlier) and favouritism (as usual) is now making this season boring. Add to it, that only 4 contestants have been evicted so far.

BB is getting very predictable. So, many people on SM and here on IF too accurately guessed that this would be another non eviction week and who will be bashed this WKV.

True, only shiv priyankit stan sumbul and abdu have fans, but the problem is stan ,sumbul ,abdu are freeloaders but still they can't be removed bcoz of the blind fans voting rigorously and the problem with bb Audience is once they become a fan of certain contestant then they can't like anyone else and keep defending their fav for everything and these PPL have pre made fanbase as well ,priyankit has udariyan fans ,shiv has the major regional fanbase & support,, stan has fans bcoz of rapping...

Now its clear shalin ,tina ,archana no matter what they do won't be liked by the fans plus it's unfair also for these contestant as if they go against the favs of audience they get mercilessly trolled then channel bashes them left right center like they did with tina and archana yesterday..tina toh was directly bashed by fans as well

but this happens every year whats new - people join the show knowing colors faces will come and win so its like no brainer. people with no fan base have always and will be at disadvantage

even this forum is a prime example of favoring and voting based on fanclubs they dont care how the game is and who’s actually trying or doing well. end of the day fans are blind and will vote even if ur a turtle, apple eater or a statue in the house.

That's why I'm against known faces coming on this show.

Instead we need unknown people from all walks of life - as is normally done in this franchise.

The Indian version of Big Brother is one big joke comparatively. But hey, it's better than nothing, so I watch it just for the silliness and hope for a good ending.

The amount of tweaking this season has is beyond the pale and I'm just curious how they can bring some semblance of believability to it.
