I Like Kareena Alot : Sharmila Tagore
Sharmila Tagore is done with her stint on the telly but she is keeping herself busy.
"Yes, the show is over. I have a film in hand – Nagesh Kukunoor's Eight by Ten. And there are other regional movies that I keep working in," she says.
And both Sharmila and MAK Pataudi seem to have given an okay to Saif's relationship with Kareena. It's not just Chote Nawab who is madly in love with Bebo, his parents are in sync with his choice too. "I have met Kareena and I think she and Saif are very good together and they have all my good wishes. In fact, MAK is very fond of her too," she smiles. But what is it that she really likes about her? "A lot of things. She is a fantastic actress, youthful and full of life. I like her vivaciousness too," answers Sharmila.
And what about the size zero debate that people started associating Kareena with? "She's not size zero! She is just thin and fit. I must say that Kareena and Soha really take care of their health. They eat a lot, khana bahut khati hain magar soch kar khati hain. They eat a lot of vegetables and for them it is about staying fit in a sensible manner. Not anorexic but thin is okay," she says.
And what about actresses in her era? "We were slightly on the heavier side. The actresses today are thinner," she laughs.
