I like KV's acting and he was very good in Thursday movie and I believe he is one of the best actors who performs really good in emotional scenes, but the amount of awards given for his role in Thursday movie is not making sense to me, there are tons of OTT movies and web series, lot of good actors are there in them, if u watch them they did better than KV in Thursday movie, but they were not getting any awards. Do these awards were also given to actors who can create SM buzz ?

These awards are all pr gimmick. This is what I feel except for a few where voting is considered like ita. Aree in this movie Atul Kulkarni has a more prominent role and he has not received a single award.
Anyway I don’t mind KV getting one since he is a good actor. Lekin itne saare for such short role looks foolish

Vidya....KV was definetly very good in the film...it was a treat to watch him for that few mins in the film.But if I consider the other actors....be it Yami or Atul ...they were fantastic and played prominent roles in the film...whereas I don't see them being awarded with this prestigious award. Yami's role was appreciated even by the critics.... the amount of awards KV got for A Thursday....I don't even see a an iota of that for Yami.The other awards he got...chalo if we still take those like they don't hold much of credibility but Daba Shahab Phalke award was always kept at high pedestal... but now it doesn't look so!! Nahi toh mujhey yeh batao...what has Gautam Vig/ Twinkle Vashist/ Sana Sultan Khan etc. done to get a Phalkey Award?? Woh bhi chodo.. Shoaib gets best promising actor....bandey ne 6-7 yrs pheley SSK kar chuka hai ...aur aab mil raha yeh award?? And more over.. what project is Shivangi doing now that she gets this award??
