The climax scene of the Abhishek Bachchan - Priyanka Chopra starrer Drona is an action packed one and will last for 5-10 minutes, we have learnt. The scene is between Abhishek and Kay Kay Menon, the main negative lead in the film.
Describing the scene, our source from the sets reveals, "The climax has a brilliantly choreographed fight sequence between Abhishek and Kay Kay. There will be some horseback exercises with sword. Abhishek will be on a white horse while Kay Kay will be atop a black one. Abhishek spent five hours with veteran fight director Shyam Kaushal mastering the art of sword fighting. The scene was shot at the famous Sambhar Lake, situated near Ajmer, some 90 km west of Jaipur."
Adds the source, "This scene will be loved by all of Abhishek's fans as he has worked really hard on it. Abhishek was very excited but at the same time very nervous to handle the sword," and further reveals, "Award-winning action coordinator Tom Delmar, who has worked on Guy Ritchie's Snatch, and London based swordmaster Richard Ryan, who trained Brad Pitt and Eric Bana for Troy have also worked on the film. Sword-based martial arts like Kalaripayat and Chhau will be feature in the film along with the Sikh martial arts Gatka performed by Priyanka Chopra."
In Drona, Abhishek Bachchan is shown as a person having super natural powers with Priyanka Chopra playing his bodyguard. For the first time both Abhishek and Jaya Bachchan will be seen playing on-screen mother and son. The film is slated to release on August 15 and will clash with Yash Raj's Bachna Ae Haseeno.
