I wish they showed Sai pick a school that doesn’t take conventional teaching approach. That would have been more fitting than this I m Gareeb doctor who cant afford fees.

Plus send her to school where Virat went because Savi wants to be like baba??? Bhai you were leaving Nagpur few days ago! YOU didn’t want her to know him cause he is not worthy father.

Now want Savi to get same education as Virat?? We all know for UPSC primary schooling has no significance. Most people from rural india without fancy resources crack it. Its all hardwork later on. N both being In highly qualified filed should know.
That dialogue was just completely misplaced.

Just to start whitewashing they will make Sai mouth praises of Virat to Savi n to viewers. Because its about time they should unite- n how to undo what Virat did! Lets make Sai giving him certificate- so it will happen without head n tail.

PS - I wasn't able to respond to anyone yesterday. Apologies. Will do so today. Hence, my thoughts here cover yesterday's episode as well.

To begin with let's talk about the premise of this show. Love vs Duty where duty takes precedence. Pre Leap we saw how Sai became love from duty. Post leap P has become duty and he is married to her.

Post-leap is a rehash of sorts. Creating situations and circumstances similar to pre leap, around the same theme. But how will that solve the purpose? There has to be some difference, because this is not a recreation, this is comparison, and difference!

Hence, I bring these two dialogues. The journey and the difference "Meri Pyaari Cheez" to "Woh kisisi aur ke bache ki maa nahi ban sakti"

Let's just analyse the dialogues. The former was meant for P, and is a very direct expression of V's feelings. Whereas, the latter is for Sai, and does not imply on V..not directly. It is about Sai.

But that is what is interesting. It is one thing to express what someone means to you. But what happens when one vouches for someone else’s feelings for them. If V is committed to P and has nothing to do with Sai, why would he make such a statement about Sai? Why not about himself like he did about P once? Is it because he has no feelings for her? Then why bring it up in the first place? It is an observation one has which is inconsequential to him in his current circumstances. Only if that has a correlation with his own feelings.

Now let’s look at how it started.

P was married to Sam, who went MIA for a year. But V though heartbroken, never enforced any rights on her. She was a friend and wife of his brother. I agree we have had our issues with him about maintaining boundaries. But in his limited understanding of boundaries and intentions he never let any of his past linger on between P and him. Even when P tried to, he was either didn’t get her meaning or he would reprimand her and ask her to keep herself in check.

When V met Sai after leap, she had a child. And there were signs that she had moved on with someone. V’s insecurities and jealousy only strengthened those doubts. Yet, he was constantly seeking answers from her as husband. Why I say husband and not lover is his actions which clearly came from a person who felt he had the rights to do so..like a husband. How can he question Sai if he is married to P. Just like when Sai was a responsibility and not love, he never exercised any rights on P, why did he not maintain the same rules when P is his wife (responsibility) and Sai is Ex-wife? Is that not infidelity? How will the same person behave so differently in the same circumstances. How are his rules and ethics changing? Can we credit this to character arc? I doubt!

Here, we need to note that Sam was not there and Sai was not interested. They had a deal marriage, and it had an expiry date. So she was no hindrance, yet his feelings for P died a rather quick death. Despite P being around he still fell for Sai.

Now Sai was not physically there for so many years. The circumstances favoured him to rekindle and move on. Yet he was unable to do so with P.

Now see the power and hold Sai and her love has. P was always around, but even her presence could not make him be in love or fall in love with her again. But V could never get over Sai even in her death.

There was only one fight I recall where V could not deny his feelings for P, and he had a slip of tongue. But he got over her rather quickly. But her Sai he has never been able to deny his feelings. His words, his actions, directly or indirectly spoke for his feelings for Sai.

Now let’s delve more into those dialogue. “Sai kisi aur ke bache ki maa nahi ban sakti. Wo aisa kabhi nahi kar sakti”.

He called P “his pyari cheez” in front of Sai. Someone who was aware of his past and who would not have any qualms about him pining over someone. Yet he fumbles. He was unable to complete the sentence. Because he felt it was wrong.

But when declared Sai’s loyalty to him, he didn’t flinch or stammer once. Nor did he regret it for a second. No after thoughts. And he spoke this in front of his entire family who wanted him to move on from Sai.

While he was still nursing his broken heart over P, he always asked P to move on with Sam. Even when he requested her to marry Sam, he believed P was capable for loving someone else. Even later, he always encouraged P to look forward and give her marriage a chance. He always wanted P to move on..move on from him.

However, when it came to Sai, he was desperately looking for signs that she still loved him and has not moved on from him. And finally when he realised that she still loves him and will not love anyone else, he is content with that thought.

If he is married to P and has no plans of sharing a life with Sai, why would he openly make such a statement? And with such finality, that it will never change. He could have used a past tense instead. And leave the future possibility open. Should he not be convincing her to move on and find someone for herself. With the same perspective he had with P, after knowing about Sai’s feelings he should have tried to persuade her to forget him and start afresh. Is it because he loves Sai and does not want her to ever move on from him. Selfish love? Or he gets an ego boost from it? Or that he how his character has evolved? Or does he harbour the feelings with a hope of a future with her? If he can encourage P to move on and have a new life then why not Sai?

Coming to FBs. It is not that V-P don’t have any memories. But how fondly has he remembered them and for how long. We haven’t had much insight into V’s mind yet. But in the Monday episode FB, V is not awkward or unhappy about recalling those moments. There is a slight smile, but no tears or regret of loss. Whereas the brief period where he recalled his moments with P, he cried for the loss. Because he never hoped to get back.

Tuesday’s episode had him convincing P and BK. Expected. And Kheer feeding bang on predicted by Sadhika!

Another parallel. The FB and then V feeding P. See the difference so starkly evident. Sai-V scene has love, V-P scene felt like he was pacifying a sulking neighbours kid. Also treat hers issues and concerns in a similar, strategical manner. But with Sai it is care and concern. The bruise on the hand was noticed and the mask slipped a bit.

V understands P very well, because she is like him. And she is very vocal about her feelings. Yet why would he ignore her direct and indirect hints about her feelings? Why is he awkward about facing this topic with her if he intends to live his life with her? Or does he plan to continue the same conditions as he loves Sai? Why would he do that? To punish Sai, himself and Savi?

If we observe the conversation, he only addresses Vinu’s issue and apologises for it. He does not consider P or her feelings as a wife. Because she is still a wife on paper (or just conditions). And he manipulates her. Uses emotional blackmailing. Walks of saying “I thought you will stand by me”. Giving her the carrot that he trusts her. Because he knew exactly where her thoughts are. And he had no plans of addressing them. Why not if he intends to move on from Sai, with her?

And he uses the similar tactic with BK. Gives her what she wants. Sai is her threat, and he denies any plans on getting back with her. He knows that no amount of talking can convince BK about Sai. But he gives assurance there by being on her side. Savi is his means to do that job. Once BK is convinced about Savi, Sai will get accepted automatically.

Surprisingly in both these cases he walks after throwing his game on them. But he does not do that with Sai. He doesn’t walk away or beat around the bush with her. He says things as they are. Like one would speak to their own..their spouse. He doesn’t try to emotionally blackmail her, when he knows that he has that hold on her. In fact he fight with her. Going by his way of dealing with people, should he not be dealing with Sai with a more guarded approach. But instead of convincing her, or talking to her, he argues and fights with her. No sweet talk. Is it only because Sai won’t fall for it? Or that is one person he is truthful with? And he never walks away from her like he does with P. He faces her.

Because, P’s issues are inconsequential, but his relationship with Sai and the issues between them are important and need to be addressed.

Neither Sai nor V were wrong in their stand, but they are operating from two different tangents. Hence unable to understand the other. Sai had mentioned to V that she cannot afford a lavish lifestyle for Savi. So he feels that Sai has financial constraints and hence she hasn’t sent Savi to school. But he is not considering that fact that someone like Sai will never neglect her daughter’s education at any cost. He only wants Savi to have the best education and contribute where he feels Sai is falling short (money). However, he does not understand that money can’t buy education, and hence it is about the school faculty and methodology that matters. On the other hand, Sai is offended by V’s thought process that she can’t afford Savi’s education and she has not prioritised it. And she wants to bring up Savi on her own. While she will get her the best education she will ensure that it is affordable and Savi does not face any complex issues with other kids. She till now had not factored V in Savi’s upbringing financially. And even if she wants to be careful in the long run, that too is fine. She is just being careful, incase tomorrow situation changes and V is not able to support.

The only point was, that they did not have to bring their ideology and ego clashes in public. But the point is would V have heard Sai’s arguments and trusted her. V always sees Sai as someone less experienced than him. Immature. First it was as a DIL, then wife and now as mother. He feels that she is a first time mother without any support and experience. And with Vinu, V is more experienced in that area.

Sai was planning to send Savi to school. So she got her admission done. Point, she now plans to stay in Nagpur. She has accepted that part. And she has got Savi admitted in Virat’s school. Are you sure Sai? After knowing about his fake qualifications can you take such chances?

So the sole point was that if they can attain a certain stature in their life, by going to a less expensive school, then so can Savi. But times have changed and so have the needs and demands of today’s children. That is a separate discussion.

Anyways V was gloating. He was a proud father and was indirectly impressed with Sai when the principal praised Savi and her upbringing. But in this whole ego trip, he lost the opportunity to participate in Savi’s admission process.

Savi is a child prodigy, So the principal is ready to admit her in 3-4 grade which is 1-2 grade higher. Which means Savi is 7 years old approximately and it has been more than 7 years since V-Sai separated. Also, the principal points that she can even be in Vinu’s class. One, do they not prefer to have siblings/twins in separate sections? And does she mean that Vinu is probably in 5th grade? That makes for a 3 year gap between them. How can Vinu then be OG Vinu then?

The spoiler talks about a fight between Vinu-Savi. I do feel P will have a role to play. But this may have to do with Vinu getting transferred to Savi’s school. They are different in their personalities and how they have led their loves so far. Vinu is already comfortable in his school and the environment there. Savi on the other hand can adjust in the school of Sai’s choice. But Vinu may find it difficult and he may not like it. For him, it is like “Why should I change my school?” “Why should I leave my friends?”. This could possible be the reason for their first squabble as siblings.

Post leap when we saw Ashwini being so hateful towards Sai, I had said that she is angry. Angry at Sai for dying. Because she deprived her of her daughter. Her son of his wife. So she was angry at Sai for causing her, her own death and the subsequent pain for Ashwini & V. Today, Ashwini’s justification seemed to imply the same thing somewhere.

But why is it difficult to believe Ashwini justification now? It does apply to some extent here. I will disregard Ashwini’s words to Sai. In anger you tend to say very mean things to your closed ones. V-Sai did that a lot. But, Ashwini accepted P whole heartedly and placed her over Sai. The same P who caused so much hurt to Sai the one she is claiming to be her daughter. Can a mother ever forgive such a woman? Can she favour such a woman over her daughter?

And most importantly. What brought such a change of heart? It was not a organic one. Not a “Time heals” story. She only changed because Sai is now the mother of her grandchild. Her emotions for Sai are dependent on how she benefits her. If she has no value, Sai is worse than a stranger!

Coming to P. She can scream as much as she wants that she is concerned about Vinu. And is only thinking about his welfare. Her reasoning also to some extent were valid. But V was also right. There are couples who have children from ex-spouses. And they co-parent. The kids are also aligned accordingly. It is not an unusual scenario. And they can’t expect to keep this hidden from the world. You just learn to address them.

Sai's point is slightly different for P. Sai is looking at P's insecurity and how it will complicate V's married life and Vinu as he may feel insecure too once Savi's secret is out

However, the problem is P is insecure for herself. As she sat recalling the day’s incidents she only thought about Sai, the importance given to her. Her whole anger was towards that. And she diverted it on Vinu. Because that is the only way she could pick this up with V. However, V knew that P was insecure about Sai.

V will try to do the same thing with P that he tried to do with Sai. Force his decisions. But this time P may not yield. However, she cannot be very vocal either, considering her insecurities about pushing V away. Hence the promo where she tries to make Sai leave.

Like I mentioned two days back. The café convo is not a result of the accident (spoiler). P is only using it to get through to Sai and convince her. Her trigger is V spending the night at Sai’s place. So we will have to wait and watch if Sai falls for it, or refuses for V’s sake. V misunderstands Sai or has a clear idea of P’s game plan.

Today the family teams are beginning to build up, and there are clear signs of a split. Omi and Sonali may soon want to separate.

But I’m amazed at the language. They use such crass language for Sai. And they do that for Savi too. Disgusting. And they call themselves rich and sophisticated. No class, only crass.

The bomb will fall tomorrow. They were overjoyed that Savi is not going to Vinu’s school assuming that she failed. But V cleared that Savi passed the test. Tomorrow, they will know about the extraordinary brilliance too. Can Bk now acknowledge at least Savi got her mother's intelligence?

I’m not sure what is the game plan, and V is indeed playing one. I have no conclusions to make either. Only a few loop holes and gaps that I’m trying to put together. While the way BK is blaming Sai for causing them so much miseries, the only way she and her gang can accept Sai wholeheartedly. For that they have to see the ugly side of P. The way V’s realisation came through JM, and we expect Sai’s to come through P, the family’s has to come through P. No amount of convincing in Sai’s favour will make them change their opinion. It has to somewhere be clear that P would have used OG Vinu (the way she will try to manipulate this Vinu) and would have not allowed Savi’s birth (by trying to harm her) to open their eyes.

For now it is V who has to keep switching sides and flipping across like a shuttle.

V could have revealed his identity to Savi when he got Sai arrested. He could have done than the noght he visited Sai's house. But he didn't. He would be planning on revealing it when "sahi waqt" arrives. But here, is he waiting for the "Sahi Waqt" or creating "Sahi mahaul/mauka" for Savi and Sai? While he fights his own war between duty and love. “Meri pyaari cheez” was long lost. “But mera pyaar”, “meri biwi” is now “Meri beti ki Aai”! That is definitely a progression.

Very good analysis. The tone everyone adopts with reference to Davis education is that she may find it tough to meet the benchmark of an elitist school . Savi is a very compassionate and street smart child. The values Sayi wants to inculcate in her daughter will make her a wonderful human. I know of kids demanding branded stuff and refusing to travel by Maruti.

Sayi is being assertive in proving her point unlike Maalkin who has her hidden agenda and thinks Sayi will fall for her bait of sponsoring her education.

Sayi has her priorities with reference to Savi clear on her head. So far it was her perspective alone that mattered by agreeing to share the costs she is not compromising on her values . She is including Virat in raising Savi as he too has suffered the same loss as her with reference to their children. She is not denying the father or grandparents their right to shower love and care on Savi.

Anyone in India will tell you that UPSC is the toughest exam to clear, Sai is a topper in her college but that doesn't compare to UPSC. Many doctors after completing their MBBS appear for this exam and fail to crack it, the prestige and sheer number of people appearing for UPSC is vast, not taking away anything from a doctor but to present that someone who cleared UPSC doesn't know that there are 8 planets only to show that Sai is smarter is the most stupid thing I have seen in my life

See Virat is almost 50.

He cracked UPSC almost 15-20 years ago. This information is fairly new.

Plus the officer is so engrossed in personal affairs he barley remembers laws to planets to bahot door ki baat hae!

V is anxious whether Saavi will sail through. Sai is not. She is fairly confident. Saavi answers everything with aplomb and Principal is impressed. Offers admission in higher grade.

Sai refuses and Principal is confused.

Sai explains that she belongs to a middle class background, doesn't take child support from V and intends to pay the fees for Saavi on her own. Also she wanted to prove a point to V that she has not failed in her duties regarding Saavi.

V is as expected irritated and angry ... as naak Jo kat gai.. pehle beti ne class laga di... phir Sai ne taunt mara aur phir Principal ne bhi daat diya... ek hi din main 3 ladies se daant khana is an unusual day in V's life 🤪

Anyway, he stops Sai and they have another squabble, over parental rights, who knows better and who should take decisions. Lekin Sai ko jeetna hai so she tells V that Saavi has been admitted to V's school. V is impressed and happy even in his loss.

Score stands V1-S1. 👏

Vinu Saavi take a round around school and one of the teachers recognises Saavi. Didn't get the point of it since Saavi is not going to be in this school. 😕

CNwasis are as usual being obnoxious. Are super confident that Saavi will fail. Ash Ninad are good but selfish. Their only concern is Saavi. They stress to the rest that they (including V) won't accept any bad mouthing towards Saavi. They have a right on this house and Saavi does too as their grandchild.

(Once again felt like Ghar ka batwara track might happen especially when Ninad said hum iss Ghar ka hissa hai)

It's not team Sai but Team Saavi... and while it is pretty selfish at this point that Ash is concerned only for Saavi... atleast they are taking a stand.... openly and proudly... something that should have been done when Sai was the daughter in law. 😔

V comes back and informs that Saavi is not admitted to Vinu's school. BK Sonali gloat and Sonali makes a point to taunt P. Has to cover up and V replies that Saavi did clear.

What I didn't like...

The entire narrative of Saavi not being admitted to this school was Sai not having the financial capability to pay the fees. She clearly mentioned it to the Principal.... to phir why did she agree for child support later? 🤔

Secondly... while Sai has done an exceptional job at home schooling Saavi the interview was just to prove a point to V... to settle scores and to lead to next drama of P getting insecure. That's the plot point...

We had discussed about pros and cons of homeschooling vs formal schooling ... but it was not even that. It looked more like an ego trip for both. Sadly the child is getting pulled in unnecessarily. Since Saavi won't be changing school, it is Vinu who will have to change😔. Since V won't be consulting it with P, it's highly improbable that he will ask Vinu if he wants to change. Once again a unilateral decision that affects the kid. 👎🏼... if not Saavi... then Vinu...

Admission promo P makes sense now!!!

Now for the apparent biasness and stupidity of the entire scenario and this is a very personal experience. It's more of a rant so please ignore if it's not your cup of tea.

We had a similar experience at my daughters school admission. We went for admitting her to nursery class but she could identify letters and numbers and read even when she couldn't write. The principal noticed she already has the motor skills required to write and was therefore directly admitted to Jr.KG/KG1. My kid could identify Donald Trump 😆 in the newspaper, spell it out and needless to say the Principal was impressed.

She never went to Nursery and is now by default the youngest in her class. And yet she is smart enough that she copes up brilliantly. No complaints 👌

Later on I have changed schools and it is the top 2 school of my city. In academics and fees.

But what matters is the pedagogy or the teaching techniques. It's more experiential and hands on and not rote learning (the reason why I decided to change) I have seen tremendous progress in my daughter in this new school and it didn't dip even during online classes of the pandemic.

I agree for the peer pressure for the financial difference between Kids though. It's very real and it's difficult to make the kid understand. 😕

So this apparent bias that big expensive schools do not have proper teaching/focus is wrong. Sai has interacted with Vinu and hasn't seen the teaching methods at the school and she also praised the school ... so the overall objection was just for fees. Then why make her accept child support and invalidate that entire point?

Stupid stupid stupid writing. 🙄

P ko insecure hi karna tha to kuch aur reason se karte. This is mindless... and child support ka question hai to that would be much bigger drama but yet again it looks like it's just in passing. Only if BK/P/Sonali makes a huge hue and cry about it then I can understand why this entire episode hinged on that particular thing.

Anyway, please ignore the rant and enjoy the episode. A smug Sai Joshi and stupid VC interaction with GC vibes is like oasis in desert. 😉

One more thing...The clever move by the writers by making a prodigy..They somewhat avoided revealing her actual age....

Loved when Sai gave bye bye kiss to her elder cub❤️..Thats so motherly..She already feels the pull and its subtly expressed in many places

Today's episode star was Ayesha...the way she enacted Sai n ofc NB complemented her well. N p dialogues free episodes are khushi of another level.

So in today's episode Sai didn't mean anywhere to demean Virat, it was her way to make him agree to take any decision about Savi, only after salaah-mashwara with her. N he said ok. N she in turn agreed to child support, it's nowhere compromise on her self-respect, it's Savi's right n ofc virat's also.
