Part 11

Geet was turning to go back when she notices bunch of police officers entering the airport

She stops on her feet seeing her family accompanying the police officers

She runs towards them to see what’s the matter

G- Aap log yahan? Aaap yahan kya kar rahe hain

Few police officers stop her

‘Peeche rahiye aap , madam’

‘Ye hamari beti hai’

Her family reassures the police

G- Aap log yahan pe kyun…?

Before she could finish, she sees Maan being hand-cuffed and being escorted out of the airport by the police force

She gasps with panic

G- Maan!

She run towards them

G- Aap ye…inko…chodiye inko…inge kyun leke jaa rah hain

Police- Madam, inke khilaf aapki family ne complaint darj ki hai, jo hoga police station mein hi hoga

Police drag Maan into the police van and drives off

Geet reaches the police station in haste

She enters and finds her family in there

She is looking around for Maan; and finds him in the lock up

She walks to the inspector

G- Chod dijiye inhe

Police- Madam. Aise nahi chod sakte. Aapki family ne complaint likhayi hai inke khilaaf

G- Kaisi complaint?

Geet’s uncle chimes in

Uncle- Ye hi, ki ye ladka tumhe gumraah karke bhagaake le gaya hai

G- Kya??? Aap logon ne mujhe ghar se nikaala aur Maan ne toh meri madat…

She stops mid-way and turnts to the police

G- Its clear now, Maan ne aisa kuch nahi kiya hau. I am an adult. Aapke paas warrant nahi hai, release him

Police- Aisa nahi hota madam, court se bail paper leke aayiye

G- Kaisi bail? Jab koi case hi nahi banta toh

Police- Madam, humko kanoon matt sikhaayiye. Choodwana hai toh apni family se kahiye case wapas lein

Uncle- Hum ye case wapas le sakte hain

Her face brightens

Uncle- Toh lijiye naa. Mr Khurana hi flight hai, unko Dubai jaana hai

Her family comes to come aside

She walks towards them

Geet’s father speaks up

Father- Beta, meri baat suno. Iss masle ki wajah se bohot samaaj mein baatein ho rahi hain. Tumhari toh chodo, tumhari behenon ki zindagi hai, unki shaadi karaani hai humne. Tum dono ek dusre ko pasand karte ho toh shaadi karlo

Geet- Papa aisa kuch nahi hai

Father- Aisa nahi hai to huss ladke ke saath kya kar rahi thi!!

The father yells at her

Father- Shaadi toh tumhe karni padegi. Tumhara baap hoon main, iss parivaar ki izzat main mitti mein milne nahi dunga. Aur shadai tumhe issi ladke se karni padegi warna…

G- Warna

Uncle- Warna police wale hamari baat sajhte hain, unko ache se samjha diya hai humne; iss ladke ka naa koi aage hai yahan naa peeche. Bete, lock up hai kuch bhi ho sakta hai

Geet gasps

G- Aap logon ko sharam aani chahiye!!

Uncle- Sharamnaak kaam toh tune kiya hain iss ladke ke saath naa jane kya kya…ye naubat hi nahi aati agar tu

Geet has had enough

She walks towards Maan who was inside the cell

He walks towards her

She looks up at him from head to toe

G- Tum thik ho?

He nods

G- I am so sorry, sba meri wajah se…tumhari flight bhi. Tum chinta mat karo main kuch karti hoon

M- I really need to be in Dubai. Why did they arrest me? What do they want?

G- I know….I am so sorry….main tumhe bail dila dungi

M- Tumhari family kya keh rahi thi tumse?

G- Who chahte hain ki hum shaadi karlein

Maan holds his head

M- Aur nahi kari toh

She doesn’t want to think about what her uncle threatened her

G- Unke liye unki izzat bohot pyaari hai

M- Shaadi ke liye haan kardo

G-kya???

M- Toh aur koi raasta hai???? Huh?

He is frustrated and irritated

M- Kam se kam yahan se toh nikal paunga naa, wapas toh jaa paunga

She sighs guiltily, she could understand his frustration and she blames herself for it

G- Thik hai. Haan kar dete hain. Uske baad tum Dubai chale jaana, aur main Hyderabad. Hum dono iske baare mein aur kisi ko kabhi nahi batayenge

He looks at Geet and nods

She looks down

She didn’t want things to go this way

I must say that now I feel Geet family has gone insane first they threw her out of the house & now blaming Maan for everything heights that they got him arrested 😡

They knew maan is alone & so is Geet they are just pressurize them to get married for their false ego

So I think for now Geet just want to move out of this mess so let's see what happens next
