As for Basit leaving Ayesha alone on the morning after was not cool. I think this is why Ayesha seemed disappointed for a moment when she asked Karim if Sahab had gone to the office and he replied in the affirmative. I suppose she was expecting things to go back to the usual with Basit focused on the office. But then things turned around with Basit calling up Ayesha from the office, referring to her as “Mrs”, telling her that he loved watching her sleep and confessing that his personal life interests him a lot more than his office nowadays 😳

If you observe the restaurant scene, both Ayesha and Basit seem so loved up with their blushing. Also Basit touching Ayesha’s hand, playing with her rings and then looking at her with hunger when she’s touching up her lipstick were clear indications that they had consummated the night before. In fact Basit seemed almost dazed when Soha was trying to chat him up on the phone.

Somebody please write a fan fiction on their consummation!! Or at least on them being out on a date🥰🥰 I just wish they had a better morning after!! Twerps I can’t help but request you 🤗😆

We have been denied those quiet moments with Basit alone, thinking about his life and circumstances that the show had given us earlier. I am just really glad FK posted the rough cut of that shirt scene since we got to see that smile. We needed that smile!

I have a feeling that the next episode might get stretched to another. Whatever Soha plans by telling Ayesha will fail because Ayet will talk it out and not let it fester. I am hoping for this. Kind of fed up with getting disappointed every week and want things to wrap up now.

That is so true! I completely agree with you that we have been denied of individual Basit and Ayesha scenes where they introspect their feelings, look back into the past and realise how far they both have come individually as well as together.

The director has done a great injustice to us viewers by cutting those scenes. I imagine how frustrated the lead actors but especially FK would’ve been realising how the director has cut the scenes which I imagine would otherwise form the foundation of the episodes.

Anyway, I’ve made peace with how it’s going to be, so I’d rather focus on Ayet than on the director who’s out there to sabotage his own project.

I also believe that we are left with two more episodes, especially with the surprise party and Soha revelation on the way. I am hoping that this time Ayesha is shown to be smarter and talks it out with Basit and gives it back to Soha. I’m waiting to see Soha’s downfall by Basit and Ayesha. It is also important that Basit realises what a real witch that woman is 🤬

As for another OS, you’re the writer here. But I believe I can try if given some ideas. So do you have any particular idea in mind when it comes to Ayet? Perhaps you could suggest something?

I was also watching some scenes of the old Basit, especially the one where Ayesha asks Basit what he generally eats for breakfast and the look of shock on his face as he replies “nothing” was such a treat 😆 So I’m wondering what would happen if somehow the old reclusive and the reluctant husband Basit were to meet the presently devoted husband who can’t stop telling his wife and the world how much he loves her and how important she is to him 🤩 Any ideas on this Twerps?

Okay honestly I've no idea what I'm doing with my life but I decided to watch the whole episode and not just the two-minute Ayet pool scene (I don't even no why I'm doing this to myself). Firstly, I must have been a fortune teller in my past life considering how Ayet had their honeymoon, which we never got to see, in Santorini, just like I had mentioned that day... I wish there were no budget constraints, the scenery from this particular island would be magical...😭 Second, is it just me or with the whole cutting scene issue and unnecessary dragging even Ayet doesn't feel the same...? To elaborate, I liked the whole pool setup, the photos, rose petals, everything was so romantic and Basit such a sweetheart but got a little turned off by Ayesha's reaction, it was meh... Like...girl he's doing all this for you...show a bit more of excitement for God's sake... 🤔 As for the rest, I don't give a damn about what Talal and his mother are up to, Zoya doesn't even deserve poor Amir, Qudsia being all polite and warm towards Basit took me by surprise but it's understandable... she needs the loan after all 🤣 Soha, Fahad and Jawad are all snakes and lastly, if Bano returns to that asshole, it'd be a total disgrace towards herself...

I agree about the scenes... There was something special about the older Ayet moments and unfortunately we've been denied those beautiful and meaningful scenes... Also, the fact that FK is carrying a whole drama on his shoulders, promoting it through his social media but doesn't even take credit for this is disheartening... He could easily retract from this project due to this injustice but I guess he's more professional than all these hypocrites...

Also Basit's english accent is hot like everything about him... I just had to say 🤣

I really want to see Basit deal with Soha. You can already see that while he is warm towards Ayesha and is warming up to her family as well, with Soha it is not the same. The way his face changed when Soha made that comment about him becoming too trusting with Bano showed that not only did he not like that comment, he made sure to make the point before Soha that Bano was his family now. Since he has found this love in his life now, I can only imagine how fiercely he will protect it from any kind of attack.

Soha doesn't even know Basit. She thinks the man who proposed marriage to her is who Basit is. Ayesha has seen how cold Basit was and has been the catalyst to his present transformation. Soha is seeing this caring husband version of Basit and thinks this is what he is like. But Basit has been shown to be someone who can be calculating and level-headed when it comes to protecting his business. He literally overcame his biggest fear in order to protect the business. We can only imagine what he will do to protect his love.

Seems like all other shows which conclude with the universal theme "anything for the babies" ..ayesha will get pregnant and she will have no other choice but not to leave basit ..doesn't matter if basit was blind enuf to let soha creep into their lives , literally doing nothing ..soha gave him repulsive vibes , suddenly everything changed ..doesn't matter if Ayesha never fought / acted maturity..ot has to be about the baby ..

It's the writers fault..they made ayesha leaving basit a joke..how many times can they play it ? They made fahad a joke ..Zoya.. talal ..qudsia..what a waste !

The pool scene was so short, you feel like why did they go to so much trouble in the first place. I liked what Basit tells her before taking her there though... He said, I love your family but for now you are all mine. So come with me, I want to show you something. I love how he is a mix of demanding and sweet.

And hehe..yess...Santorini! as cappa says, wish they could have actually gone there to shoot. But then perhaps they would have cut out those scenes anyway so no point. Ayet scenes indeed seem to have been affected by this wonky editing. Anyway, MM has shown to be unreliable as a show-maker. He has allowed external factors to ruin his drama. I cannot see a Badar Mehmood (Ishqiya director) doing something like this. Though Badar Mehmood would ruthlessly punish lead characters through the story as he did in Ishqiya for which the fandom has not forgiven him. 😆

Ever since this Talal track started, I have lost all interest in Bano's future. Her scene with Basit was good though.

Story writer began well and then had her brain go on a trip midway. Very cliched story it has turned out to be. I was thinking Pride and Prejudice and it turned out a diluted Kyunki saas type show.

The pool scene could be a delight to watch if not cut out (I remember there was a conversation in bts, which again we never saw) and if Ayesha was a little more enthusiastic... Honestly I expected more... I don't even see the point of showing us one scene of the lead couple, which lasts two minutes and that too incomplete... Like wtf...🤬 And Santorini, the dream island for newly weds... If I could I'd sponsor them myself to go and shoot there 🤣 another wasted opportunity... But as you've mentioned, if their scenes were to be cut off like this, better that they didn't bother... I'm watching ishqiya nonetheless as soon as I find some time ❤️ I have a feeling that besides the sad ending, the pace and the characterization will be definitely better than Habs... And of course won't be watching anything involving MM ever again 🤣🤬
